Wanakenya,

Look at the cabinet proposal made by ODM and contrast it with one by PNU. One thing is apparent; I think these PNU jokers just DON’T GET IT………. They JUST DON’T GET IT!

Kenyans understand what it means to share governance on a 50/50 basis. Indeed, it is preposterous for these PNU socio-political perverts to even fathom that Kenyans will sit back and allow them to derail the process. Kibaki should remember a few commons truths above the 2007 election; that he lost the election, that he stole the election in broad-day light, that he was hurriedly, shamefully and illegally sworn into office during the dark hours, that his careless and arrogant actions catalyzed the violence and police brutality and that he played a hardliner for months as Kenyans died and properties destroyed.

After all, in view of the sorry state our nation was railroaded to, ODM has been compelled due to the post election conditions to cede their rightful ground and the party has been extremely gracious in accepting to share their rightful cake with a violent and careless robber PNU. Yet it remains a disturbing fact to note that PNU still feels that they have some room and right to haggle. I mean, this is ludicrous

Indeed President Kibaki should know that he signed peace accord with PM Raila. With the factor in the PM with powers in the constitution President Kibaki should realize that business would never be as usual instead he should peruse the constitution of Kenya again. I don’t believe PNU is more in the government that ODM as some PNU hardliners thinks. So names such as PNU/Government, ODM/Government or ODMK/opposition is uncalled for. Muthaura and Mutua should keep quiet in the on going negotiation to give time to the two principals to conclude the Cabinet issue.

The following steps are the transparent way to share cabinet position equally between ODM and PNU:
    1. President Kibaki should disband the 17 ministers he constituted recently.
    2. President Kibaki and PM Raila to list down the available ministries let say 34 or less
    3. In front of the ODM/PNU negotiators, international communities and the media, Kibaki selects one ministry from the list then Raila selects a ministry as well.
    4. This process to be repeated until the list of ministries is exhausted.
    5. Both Kibaki’s and Raila’s selections are merged so that there is only one final list.
    6. The final list above is read to Kenyans so that Kazi ianze.

WOE TO THOSE WHO NEGOTIATE WITH THIEVES AND KILLERS..LOOK AT WHAT PNU IS NOW DOING….THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND YOUR WALLET NOW THEY WANT TO NEGOTIATE HOW MUCH YOU SHOULD GET BACK!….EVEN AFTER THE WHOLE WORLD HAS TOLD THEM THEY DONT DESERVE OR OWN ANY OF THAT MONEY…A FACT WHICH THEY HAVE AGREED ON-[THE ACCORD]

-ODM SHOULD MOVE FOR A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE ON KIBAKI & REMOVE HIM FROM THE COALITION!

-ODM SHOULD RECORGANISE RAILA AS THE DE-FACTO LEADER OF THE COALITION.

-ODM SHOULD DISMANTLE ALL DISTRICTS AND MERGE KENYA INTO THE REQUIRED PROVINCES TO END ETHNIC CLASHES

-ODM SHOULD AT MOST MAINTAIN A 34-MEMBER CABINET OR REDUCE IT FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY IN GOVERNANCE.

-ODM SHOULD DISMANTLE ASSISTANT MINISTERS POSITIONS AND REPLACE THEM WITH PERMANENT SECRETARIES IN CORRESPONDING MINISTRIES.

-ODM SHOULD REMOVE THE POSITIONS OF DISTRICT POLICE COMMISIONERS[ CHIEFS] AND MAKE THEM SERVE TO BE FIRED AND HIRED BY THE CITY MAYORS OR OTHER SIMILAR CIVIC LEADERS OF LOCAL DIVISIONS.

-ODM SHOULD CREATE A FREE-ENTERPRISE [MARKET REGULATED ECONOMY] ….SMALLER GOVERNMENT AND LOWER TAXES REQUIRED OF A GOVERNMENT POPULARLY ELECTED.

-ODM SHOULD IMPLEMENT STRICTLY AND PROPERLY THE DEVOLUTION OF WEALTH.

-ODM AND RAILA ODING HAS NO BUSSINES APPEASING TO PNU AND ITS “ILLEGAL” CABINET.

The two failed to agree on whether the country should have a 44-member Cabinet or the number should stand at 34.

But both leaders were quick to point out that the Cabinet-making talks had not collapsed and the two sides would continue consulting though no new date had been set for their next meeting

You never share your stolen goods with the very unrepentant thief who planned, executed and and declared your goods his.

I never understood the rationale behind this powersharing myth.
The false sense of security instituted by Kofi Annan is merely to buy time those who collaborated in th rigging of the 12/27/07 elections. These are the same people who commissioned Mr. Annan to bring the temporary calm the Kenyans are feeling now. They people are preparing to hit, and hit very hard the second time around.

You cannot have the same corrupt individuals who should be in jail running the show!! When you decide put a pack of hyenas in an enclosure with sheep inside, you cannot pretend that you are unaware of what the results may look like.

ODM-SHOULD BE BLAMED FOR CABINET DELAY:

-THE ACCORD ELIMINATED THE “ILLEGAL GOVERNMENT” OF PRESIDENT KIBAKI & REDUCED HIS POWER BY 50% UNDER 50-50 “POWERSHARING BETWEEN HIM AND RAILA.

-THE CABINET HE NAMED ARE THEREFORE “ILLEGITIMATE “AND HAVE NO BUSSINESS CONDUCTING OR RUNNING THE GOVERNMENT OF KENYA AFTER THE ACCORD.

-THE ACCORD EMPOWERS “COALITION MINISTERS TO ONLY BE FIRED BY WRITTEN AGREEMENT OF COEALITION LEADERS” -THIS MEANS NOBODY NAMED BY KIBAKI SHOULD SERVE UNDER THE PRIME MINISTER AFTER THE ACCORD SINCE THEY SERVE ONLY AT THE WISHES OF KIBAKI.

-RAILA AND ODM WILL BE MAKING A BAD MISTAKE TO GO TO WORK WITH CABINET MEMBERS NAMED BY ONLY KIBAKI-SINCE THEY ARE NOT “LEGITIMATE CABINET AFTER THE ACCORD”

-THE COALITIONS SUCCESS OR FAILURE WILL BE BLAMED ON RAILA AT ANYTIME AS” COODINATOR AND EXCUTIVE SUPERVISOR”

ODM MUST NAME A FRESH …LEAN CABINET MINISTERS AND FORWARD IT FOR KIBAKI TO SIGN UNDER COALITION REQUIREMENT’….THE NOTION OF RETAING KIBAKI CABINET IS NOT CONSISTENT WITH THE ACCORD WHICH MUST BE IMPLEMENTED TO THE LETTER

-ODM MUST FORM A SMALL GOVERNMENT WITH LESS BEREAUCRACY [WAY LESS THAN 34-CABINET MEMBERS] & NO- ASSISTANT MINISTERS [REPLACED WITH PERMANENT SECRETARIES]..

-DISMANTLE ALL DISTRICTS AND RUN THE GOVERNMENT WITH PROVINCIAL COMMISSIONERS INSTEAD- THESE MOVES WILL STOP ETHNIC CLASHES AND DISPUTES….

-KENYA SHOULD BE FREE ENTERPRISE..SMALL GOVERNMENT…LOWER TAXES AND EFFICIENT GOVERNANCE.

If you look at the history of most the Panu hardliners, they are
opprtunitists who have been around in the politics of kenya since the time of independence. They always played it save during colonial government,Kenyatta’s government, and Moi’s government.During colonial government most of them like Karume, and Michuki were homeguards who were helping colonial government .Kenyatta ‘s time ,these people got opportunities to take kenya’s wealth for themselves while other people were denied opportunities by design.
