GUYS,
Safaricom is on sale, this is known everywhere even in Finland where I am now there is news of it`s sale. So foxes the best thing I would advice you to do is this: Please anybody who is having cash to spend buy shares and buy as much as you can.
I do think that you can change things when you are inside the company. It will be very hard to make changes when you are outside the company and you do not own any share. I am afraid the trend things are now going on in Kenya about Safaricom is beyond anybody`s controle right now especially ordinary people like the Diaspora Kenyans. Let us not waist time crying while other people from other regions are taking all the hot cakes. There is nobody who will bring food into our mouths except ourselves.
Sorry guys!
Best regards,
Paul Nyandoto

Subject: RE: RE: Vodafone’s mystery partner in Kenya – Mobitelea
I agree. I read a lot of mischief and impunity from the desk of the Finance Minister as he has categorically refused to disclose any info on Mobitelea. I see them working behind the scenes to correct all the faults and then later he will release information that has been doctored. I also suggest that let people just buy as much as they can and not be left out.
One day we may just be the losers. I still do not know nor am I confident on the process thety will use to allocate the shares. From the look of things, it has alreeady been over-subscribed and many recently formed ‘trading companies’ are queueing for the shares in droves. Many people will indeed be disappointed when their money will be refunded at the end. That should, however, noit be an excuse to forego the IPO. So I stronglyurge people to buy. Even if you cannot raise the amount, team up with a trusted budy and apply for the shares. You may one day smile all the way to the bank when the spoils are being reaped.
Thanks Paul Nyandoto for that timely observation.
