KENYA: SUPPORT FOR HDC AND TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS

As far as we are concerned, the Prime Minister’s position will be there until elections for a new President is done under the framework of the new constitution.

President Kibaki, having no clear mandate to govern Kenya himself cannot pretend to govern Kenya solely without consulting the Prime Minister even after the referandum.

Suggestions that the PM not be consulted after the referandum by Hon. Mutula Kilonzo is not only cheeky but also an insult to Kenyans. Echoes for the same by PNU brigade betrays a phobia for the holder of PM’s office to an extent many of us are wondering what good thing is in Raila that the PNU brigade does not want us to see.

Let me assure the PNU hawks that the more they fight Raila, the more relevent he remains in the psyche of Kenyans, the more popular he becomes as they loose place in the psyche of Kenyans.

I urge all Kenyans to ignore PNU and support the draft the way it has been presented by CoE. We cannot have a country where so long as Raila has supported something, however good it is, it is opposed by those who walk in corridors of power.

My dear good people, use every platform to spread the message of reform.
