Corruption in Kenya is hitting back and is doing so with an octane-laden vengeance. This is its “operation Mushtarak”; it is as vicious as unconscionable…All guns are cocked with the barrels squarely on the prime minister’s ass. It is bare-knuckled-take –no-prisoners no scruples-kick-ass hydra-headed impish monster.
It is unfortunate that KACC has been completely taken over by this cartel. The shoddy cemetery scandal report that was leaked to the media is a good example. The report was authored with the sole purpose of defaming the person of Musalia Mudavadi in the hope that they would stop the latest drive to fight corruption in Kenya. To them the prime minister and his party is becoming an impediment to the current status quo and must be stopped at all cost.
Whoever authored the master piece must either be delusional or has unabashed disdain for Kenyans. It is no wonder that Kenyans are normally referred to as ‘mavi ya kuku’ or ‘bure kabisa’. One would think that to defame a person of Musalia’s repute and standing in society one would formulate a watertight case that was closer to the truth.
I can not understand why KACC would want to convince Kenyans that the DPM was culpable because a one, M/s Ngugi (whose palm was also greased by 8 million shillings in the scandal) intimated to them that the mayor assured her that a one, Newton Osiemo was working at the behest of the DPM and the PS.
Is the credibility of this woman beyond reproach? Would any jury or judge take her testimony in court seriously? Why couldn’t KACC take liberty to verify the veracity of such allegations? Was there a possibility that Osiemo was a mere imposter, if it is true that he was part of the deal? KACC’s ineptitude is indeed quite mind boggling.
Why did the treasury release funds 6 months before the finalization of the land sale? If it is true that this scandal was mooted in 2005, who was the minister of local government then and was he part of the whole deal? Why, Why, Why…?
Why was KACC reckoning the Osiemo was missing?
I suspect that there was a darker motive to the whole saga….looks like the cartel behind the dossier were hoping the leaking of the information would ignite tremendous public outraged and that there would be demand for Mudavadi’s immediate sacking. In the meantime the mutilated body of Newton Osiemo would be found at a convenient location tied to the DPM…you get my point.
DPM would be accused of eliminating Osiemo to cover up…this would be the last nail on ODM’s coffin and PNU saints would come home in chariots to rescue Kenyans…
Osiemo should thank Khalwale for demanding in parliament that the government must guarantee his (Osiemo’s) safety. It was also smart of him to have exposed himself to the media.
Kenyans should demand the resignation of Mutonyi. He is now the hatchet man for PNU who is bringing KACC into disrepute. It is important that a new director should be appointed expeditiously to save the organization.
