For those of you who might not be aware, today is April fool’s day; a day that many play tricks on their friends, family members and whoever they feel like.
Like many others, no one can point out accurately when and why this came about. Tradition has it that it originated in France as early as 1582. From there, it spread to England, America, and the entire world.
As you reflect on this day, allow me to throw a few questions for you to ponder.
1.Have you ever taken time to question traditions as this one? Given that we were not there isn’t reasonable that we take time to reflect on such?
2. Is it OK for a Christian to play tricks on others just for fun?
3.Is there any conflict with the word of God?
4.Where do we draw the line?
Has anyone ever fooled you? Have you ever fooled anyone?
Just a thought.
