KENYA: WORN OUT WIPER

From: Wambua Kaloki Wakenya

Despite ‘wiper’s wavering’, observers from Eastern Province are reporting that Easterners including our brothers from Kitui are solidly behind the new constitution. They are saying that even windscreen wipers wear out and if not replaced, end up scratching the windscreen.

The wiper needs replacement. Ruto should be uprooted and Kenyatta should let us eat ‘matunda ya uhuru’ through a new constitution.

On a serious note, why should we respect people who just the other day were chest thumping that they made good proposals in Naivasha only to turn around and disown the same proposals, then some one tells us to respect them.

I wish all of you a less KKK day and join you in saying a LOUD YES to the new constitution.

    Wambua,

Well said and keep the pressure on. Our man from Mwingi will never learn and still thinks that always walking in the middle pays divideds just like the 2007 fiasco.

The VP has a long way to go to capture any seat as from now – – always being misused by guys from central[by calling him WAMUSEE]. That’s why a few of our cousins [Kikuyus] want him to succeed Kibaki so that they can sit on him. They know the guy is weak and wants to always appear as Mr.clean.

Kenyans need a serious fellow who takes a decision and sticks by it no matter the repercussions; but not the case of [YES, NO, YESYES, NONONO. I MEAN YES etc, etc. Njia mbili, fisi alipasuka nini? alipasuka nini?.

They were together in one voice and all the amendments the had agreed upon like the issue of devolution, land and abortion but its only afterwards that this issues were scraped off the draft thats why they protested against it…….

WAMBUA leaders are chosen by their people so one mans meat is another mans poison but lets all unite as kenyans not as tribes for our country does not depend on either tribe in this country but through good leadership and togetherness whhich starts with you and me.

After Moi and Kibaki, it seems the Veep’s position is a cursed one. I do not need to give examples.

Replacing the position with a Deputy President who is not appointed after hasty deals will give respect to the office. For this reason only, the current Veep should be steadfast in his support for adoption of the proposed constitution.

Christine, even those spearheading the Yes campaign did not get what they expected but in a spirit of give and take and in respect of democracy and instituted processes gave up their wishes.

In a democracy, you do not go protesting just because your wish has not carried the day.

THE CHURCH I KENYA AND THE PROPOSED CONSTITUTION

Every time Canon Karanja opens his holy mouth addressing the audience Christians get the fright and chilling fear runs down their spines. When he arrogantly talks and thereafter smiles along side other colleague bishops who do the same at a press conference Christians get confused as to whether the shepherds represent or not Satan on earth.

I wonder if this great bishop ever replays his image at a press conference in order to reflect on his body language. If he did he would change once and for all in the very love of humble Christianity and Christendom.

Anyway I leave judgment to God Almighty. As for their stand on the proposed new constitution I also leave it to God Almighty since I know that there is no crime or dishonesty that will go unpunished at the time of the Great Judgment.

    QUESTIONS FOR LUIS MORENO OCAMPO

    1. Is is possible that a commission of inquiry led by Philip Waki, appointed by President Mwai Kibaki, the leader of PNU which is a party to the disputed 2007 presidential elections could indeed tell the truth against the President and the PNU party?

    2. Why did the PNU leaders who met at state house not see the lack of logic in carrying out revenge on people, the Luo, at Naivasha and Nakuru knowing very well that they were innocent and did not take part in the killings at the Eldoret Kiamba Church? Why did state house direct revenge at innocent people if they had to revenge at all?

    3. If the violence was pre-planned by say ODM leaders why did police start shooting and killing pro-ODM supporters who were protesting the elections theft within minutes from the moment Mwai Kibaki was announced to have won the elections? Was the shooting pre-arranged?

    4. One , lady Kahindi, the PPO Nyanza Province at the time of the PEV, who foresaw the thick of the police killing when asked why the police was killing the people answered that she had ”orders from above to shoot to kill”. Were these orders from her husband?

    5. Why was Erick Kiraethe, the police spokesman, so excited when he saw on TV the police shooting and killing two youths in Kisumu, leading to him shamelessly saying on live television that the killing was Rambo Style?

    6. Why was the people’s state house used for the meeting that only to favored one community when it is clear that it is maintained and kept by the people’s taxes?
