I have read your article appearing on the Daily Nation Online Edition nof Sunday, April 26, 2008 and the conclusion that I have reached is that being educated with several titles such as yours does not change the mind of a demagogue with a tribal mind. Why do you want to shift the blame on the land issue in Kenya to innocent people? Are you a Kenyan or have you lever lived in Kenya at any time in your life to know the real causes of any kind of problem facing Kenyans today? You must be out of the moon to blame the ordinary Kenyans on the Kenyan nland issue. I challenge you for a debate, “my learned friend.”
I could not believe that the article I was reading was pieced up by a Professor.
Yes, you could be a Professor of books but the Kikuyu tribal tag in you will remain forever.
Why do I say this? Any right thinking ordinary Kenyan knows that the land question in our country is a matter that can only be addressed by asking the well known land grabbers in Kenya- the families of Kenyatta, Moi and Kibaki and their accomplices to tell Kenyans how they acquired the huge tracts of land that they own. Period. There is nothing more or nothing else.
For this matter, my only conclusion is that your article is aimed at nothing more than trying to appease the Kibaki men to slice for you a piece of meat in the government. You are therefore a total disgrace to independent thinkers whom you claim to be part of.

The resettlement of the displaced should be not be hurried
bacause it is very important to address the cause of this
usual displacements conclusively inorder to avoid a repeat
in future.It is not secret that our nation founders ignored
fundamental rights of the natives . Kenyatta behaved just
like the colonialists whom he took over. His concerned was
to make the kikuyu rule other tribes.
Kenyatta ambition of making kikuyu a ruling tribe made him
insensitive of other tribes when it came to resettlement of
former white farms. He brought in his own people to settle
in these farms ignoring the feeling of real owners.This was
dictatorship employed by Kenyatta to make his tribe rich at
the expense of other tribes.
Infact,the way kenyatta handled the land issues was worse
than the way colonialists handled the land issues who talked
with the leaders of the tribes to allow them to develop the
for a certain period. For example,the colonialists had to talk
with Lenana the leader of Masia for the land. This is what kenyatta could have done inorder to secure stability for his
people.
Another mistake of Kenyatta was that he was only interested
in settling Kikuyu without thinking to settling other tribes who
also without adequate land.This was discriminative behavior
which kenyatta as the president could have avoided.
If Kibaki and Raila want to avoid choas in future about the land
issue then resettlement should be hurried. Let them work on reconciliation and truth to establish a foundation for future
stablility. Again ,the country should introduce majimbo sort
of government to other kenyans feel inclusive in the government
system. Mps should table a motion to the effect of establishing
majimbo very quickly. This is neccessary because kikuyu are
to greedy to be left with nation cake for fair distribution.
Look the way kikuyu have divided ministrial ,and permanent secretaries positions.This confirms how greedy these people
are,and it was the same way kenyatta used to divide the
national cake. Therefore,introduction of a majimbo form of
government is the medicine to kenya prolems.
Remember 1969,the whole kikuyu population took oath to rule
kenya throughout . This is hidden reason why the killed people
like Tom Mboya whom they regarded as a threat the plan.
These mount kenya will not leave people to live in peace. It
is the same reason why they had to rig last year elections
inorder to continue ruling.
Majimbo is the answer to kenya problem whether we like it
or not. All regions of kenya will just feel a belong when
federal government is put in place.We can not leave kenya
to few greedy people to exploit our resources.
