The international community should make sure that Kibaki respect the powersharing accord. The way is behaving shows
that he either does not understand or ignores the accord intentionally. The accord made real sharing of power with Raila.

This is same way of behavior which almost destroyed kenya. If
he still continue with the same behavior then let us prepare for
the worst. Kenya community everywhere is not going to leave
him and his corrupt ministers to mess kenya again. We want real
    reforms not lipservice.

Therefore,we ask the ambassador to know Kibaki properly.
He is a leader who is controlled by the policy of some few
corrupt friends . Majority of these friends are not members
of cabinet. There are mostly the people whom he appointed
heads of financial bodies when he was minister for finance.
They are people who made corrupt money in the first regime.

In fact,Kibaki has never been a nationalist . When he was minister for finance all heads of finance bodies were kikuyu.
Therefore,he finds it comfortable to be in the company of
these his kinmen. The interest of these his kitchen cabinet
members is safeguard kikuyu monoploy in everything.

I do not understand why Kenyans think that USA and the West are interested in strengthening Raila Odinga as a Prime Minister. These people have interests in Kenya that have absolutely nothing to do with the strengthening the position of PM, unless the PM is willing to help them achieve their goals. It is very strange that Bill Ruto, an ODM leader, is not part of the efforts to resettle IDPs. After all most of the displaced people were dwelling in the Rift Valley. It looks like Mr. Ruto is being seriously marginalized, which I think, is a very big mistake.

The fact is, ODM and Raila Odinga need the Kenyan public support to achieve the promises they made to those Kenyans who voted for them. The participation of people in the Rift Valley is required to make this power sharing sham have some shaky legs to stand on.

There would not have a power sharing “anything” had it not for the fact that an overwhelming majority of young and old Kenyans, most of whom are unemployed, worked their tails off to vote for ODM. What is happening with this reconciliation tour and effort to resettle IDPs is that ODM party is being slowly broken. I just hope that Raila remembers what happen to Tom Mboya when he was used to disorganize the Luos against his own daddy who was then the Vice President of Kenya.

The resettlement of IDPs must not begin until the problems surrounding the lands issues in Rift Valley are publicly discussed and settled without undermining those who believe that their ancestral land was unfairly distributed to others. Otherwise, the deep wounds associated with RV land problems there will resurface. Foreign powers must not be involved in prematurely pushing for some artificial agreements in which a section of Rift valley people are marginalized.
