@Peter Ngige.
what ODM was involved in 2007/8 was mass action not violence. violence was witneesd in Naivasha when Goons were hired from Nairobi to Naivasha to burn n kill people, by the way how many people were killed in Nyanza?

Below is a story of a party which we witnessed causing tension which led to PEV in 2007/8. They have done it again by storming the counting hall again.
In 2007 they were complaining about the manual tarrying, now after electronic tarrying was introduced, they want us to go back to manual tarrying.
Is it that they think kenyans are stupid??? They want to force kenyans to like them. They should know that asiyekimbali kishindwa si mshindani, shame on them. This shows clearly that if we are not wearly of these politians, in 2012, they might repeat the same

Ford people’s candidate Manson Nyamweya Oyongo was last night in the lead in the South Mugirango by-elections as shown by provisional results relayed via a new electronic transmission system.
By 10pm Nyamweya had garnered 11,000 votes, followed by PDP’s Omingo Magara with 6,000 while ODM’s Ibrahim Ochoi managed 5,000.
This is the first time the Interim Independent Electoral Commission (IIEC) was relaying election results live electronically.
ODM MPs led by Lands minister James Orengo caused a stir in the counting hall when they rejected the provisional results displayed by the IIEC.
They said the IIEC was sending wrong signals because the media was relying on the provisional results and that was likely to mislead the public.
The Minister asked the returning officer Mr Bonventure Obongoya to post actual results and not provisional ones.
Fisheries minister Paul Otuoma also denounced the results displayed by IIEC saying they were misleading.
Following the protests that threatened to disrupt the counting, the IIEC was forced to withdraw the e-tallying system and resorted to manual counting.
The e- system on test run by IIEC comes in the wake of the launch of nationwide fibre optics network.
IIEC may adopt the system if it proves effective, according to the Chief executive officer
James Oswago, who spoke to the Standard in an interview.
ODM should get serious in its Political way of handling things. They shamelessly hired violent goons to stop a helicopter carrying one candidate’s supporters, and still have not yet ever apologised for the deaths, rapes, etc that their supporters caused 2 years ago.
ODM is not a Pro-People Liberation Movement as it pretends to be, it is still a bunch of people who gain Poilitical milage by blaming others on everything thats wrong.
I hope that its leadership will one day be made of people full of a conviction to lead Kenya in the way of justice AS our future is not as strong as our army, but as our social system/structure.
Iwould to take this humble time to thank the people of south mugirango and the Gussi comunity as awhole for doing a very wise judgerment that surprised both warring parties.iwould wish to say that they shoed maturity in politics, this is because by giving Nyamweya that ticket added another advantage to him to be only loyal to the constituence as his masters.this will also give him time for developing his area at the expence of political party loyality.
For him it is to only suport good ideologies sincer he bares no loyality to any coalition governing partis.
I would only advise him against oportunists who are their for use and dump that may put his political carre short. And only to serve his people and kenya as awhole for beter achievement and also for a better kenya tomorro.
Peter Ngige-What is this manual tarrying thing you have written twice in your article? While I expect you to pronounce it that way given your background,I dont ecpect you to also write it as such!
Okush-What do you mean by saying that goons were hired to block the helicopter from landing when it was the Ruto group who had been involved in acts of provocation by going to the grounds where an ODM meeting had just ended and those who had attended were still there.Did they expect to be received with flowers given that this was not the first time they had done that in the camapaigns? I wish to congratulate Hon.Nyamweya on his win and let that be a lesson to other voters that the destiny of their constituency lies in their hands and not on outsiders fighting their ways there by proxy.
