Kisumu Town West Constituency MP Hon. Olago Aluoch has dared suspended assistant minister for roads Hon. Wilfred Machage, telling him to resign from government.
Aluoch says that the suspended assistant minister should stop issuing threats to the president but quit government.
He says that Machage has no business serving in a government he has expressed disloyalty.
He says the president did what is in law by suspending the Kuria MP pending the outcome of investigations into the hate speech purported to have been said by the MP.
Speaking during a prize giving day for Kisumu Girls High School, Aluoch says that Machage should stop chest thumbing and resign altogether as an assistant minister.
The MP also took the opportunity to rally teachers to support the proposed constitution and urged them not to peg the passing of the new constitution on pay hike.
Olago says that teachers stand a better chance to gain much from the constitution since it will make Teachers Service Commission autonomous.
Ends.
