Mig Mangerere,
The Police Spokesman Mr. Eric Kiraithe assured me yesterday that the Police are doing all in their power to address the situation. He said the Police Commissioner has taken the security situation in Kenya as a priority and he is addressing that as a matter of concern to the Police Force.
I will lead a delegation from Komarock and Kayole to meet him and the Commissioner on this case so that the residents can tell the Commissioner their personal experiences. We want to engage positively with the Police in the fight against insecurity and crime. I believe we can win this war when we work together.
I am also happy to report that the response from the area chief and the assistant chiefs has been proactive. They both called me and we have agreed on a partnership that will address the situation.
The only problem I had was the unprofessional response from the area OCPD, a person I have known for so long. He will need to pull up his socks or else, we will demand that he be transfered to an area that does not need seriousness.
In the meantime, I want to invite Kenyans to be on the watch out about such like cases. Take care of your family and report any untoward cases immediately to the Police Force. We must work closely with them to ensure security of all Kenyans.
Peace and blessings to all,
Odhiambo T Oketch

Oketch,
you are exactly right and total support is needed to arrest the killer/s. Remember, this is happening when the MPs’ salaries are being raised and these victims are the same ones who voted for them even as they still sleep in sacks. Don’t they deserve some service from the representatives that might be safe and closer to their security in the nation ? Otherwise why pretend to be proud in voting or even vote at all ?

There is a serial killer on the sprawl in Kayole Estate of Nairobi and the Police seem to be doing nothing about it.
I am informed that several women and mostly Girl Children are targeted.
Can the media do an investigation and talk with the people around Kayole 1 area and along Spine Road so that many innocent lives are saved. The worst part is the Kayole Corner that leads to the Police Station when you are from Kangundo Road. It is very bad, even as early as 6pm.
I have received 3 calls today on the same and when I called the OCPD to ask of the same, he told me that he has not met the killer so he is not informed about it.
Let us save Kenyans from these vampires on the sprawl. Let us not wait for more Kenyans to be killed before we act in defense of innocent souls.

I am a resident of Kayole and that place is a den of corpses from the mob justice. I guess mob killings should be as frequent as 1 person per week, based on the incidences i have come across personally. I lost one of my village mate last year when one drunk lady pointed at him and said “this is one of them” meaning one of the thieves. That phrase cost him his life coz he was judged as a thief and killed instantly, though innocent. This incident instilled fear in me coz you never know what lies ahead. Please u need 2do something.idle monds who have
