Francis Atwoli,
You have spoken well and I support your sentiments. This is the best forum for Ruto and Moi to tell the world the truth and what they fear holding their agenda and those they want to amend for later after the Referendum. Why did Moi not give Kenyans a chance before the kind of this opportunity after being in power ruling for 25 years, why did he Moi not benefited Kenyans for progress and prosperity and provided Kenya with Development and growth, but the increase of thugs in his days as seen in the YK92 and Stone throwers those who now share platform with him, who only understands wars and submarine language of the underground cold war that which have created and worsened poverty and landlessness, which creates more fear and destruction, a result of backwardness and poverty….What better thing will he do by delaying Referendum like he did those days in his ruling. Who tells him that ruling by the gun is the answer to progress? Moi thrives in fear mongering and threats of the cold war, why cant he stay off and enjoy his retirement? There is more than meets the eye people ! ! !
Oparanya maybe holding an acid weapon for the “NO” group and must be forced to declare the results of the Sensus so to tally with the total result of the registration by the IIECK – – a variation after the result must tally to avoid rigging.
Ruto must stop using scapegoat in the name of US this US that. He should ask those US Churches who gave the $$$s to the Churches in Kenya to destruct and scuttle the Referendum, don’t we now know their networks and their purpose for funding the “NO” to scuttle Referendum, don’t they eye to gain CONTROL of Kenyans Resources freely at no cost, and acquire land and Natural Resources for their wealth, the reason they were fighting Obama through Ogego and Dr. Barack Abonyo and Esq. The reason they want to spill Kenyans poor blood? Those are the enemy of Kenya and not Obama. Obama’s father having died mysteriously in the struggle for CHANGE to give Kenya a better and honorable life, trying to share his expertise he gained abroad, was scuttled by Moi, and his death therefore came from him being marginalized and was cornered into frustration and despair into hopelessness by Moi using his machinery in the Government because Moi targeted Luo and Luo Nyanza into extinction. Don’t you see Moi ganged up with Museveni to NYAKUA Migingo for whoever those program from his Moi University for Fish Industry, where Moi himself does not eat fish. Luo fishermen at Migingo were killed and some brutalized because of Moi’s connections with those $$$$s and Iron-Fist Rulership? Who therefore is using USAID program to block development in Luo Nyanza, who has brought the idea of buying Culturally owned Luo Nyanza land in blocks, who or canningly inviting Luos to take big loans so their lands can be confiscicated for those having access of the Big Loanings in Kenya with the World Bank and IMF funding? Through who does that money go for development in Kenya? This is why we DEMAND investigations at the USAID Personnel in Kenya. They do not follow disbursement regulations but formulated their owns in the Corrupt system of their network. We also need changing of those staff of personnel there – – specifically Muthoni and Kimani – – before any audit is done.
I remember one senior most Kikuyu lady there Muthoni, returned my requisition papers saying my application is UNSOLICITED, who did she want me to solicit from???? Moi or Ruto?
The squabbles for MPs pay rise is in bad taste especially at this moment when people have forsaken all else to struggle to campaign at grassroots for the success of the Referendum…..This is their top job number one, but they seem laxed. This must be clear and be understood by all sundry that the Referendum and the New Constitution is a Government Project, a Peoples’ mandate programe Agenda, a chance of a lifetime, that which will provide avenue for 2012 election, where we expected all Leaders to fight tooth and nail for “YES”, that without it, there will be no election and cannot be delayed any one more day, but that the way they behave, showing preference for MPs rise, money which swells their pocket for their personal gain is not fair. It is like it is none of their business. Then what is, and why, for what purpose or service do they ask for salary rise? Wamefanya kazi gani ya muhimu? Let them be seen and heard working hard for the Public like Sally Kosgey and Francis Atwoli. People should earn according to their performance. In all seriousness, these leaders who are briefcase Constituency leaders have Reality Checks or be given Red Card for poor bad service to those they represent.
I thank the demonstrators who spoke loud and clear, who made their voices heard at the gates of the Parliament. These leaders must be aware, people public are the power house, if those hired are not able to provide tangible services, they will be fired at election time. President should order them to go back to their Constituents so they can begin to engage, inform and sell Government project for “YES” to sail through at Referendum.
Threats on public anywhere in the Nation in any form must be taken very seriously by the Government as this are contributes fueling Civil Conflicts that were promised by Ruto and Moi when they warned that if Referendum takes place, there will be bloodshed. So however light any form of threat, must be confronted by the Government and nubbed.
Before Referendum, the correct census result must be released and read out, these are hidden prescription for “NO” to win Referendum by surprise as well if not measures for them to rig. Why has Oparanya with those University Boys linkages (submarines) of Dr.& Prof. Barack Abonyo & Esquire, those with connects of Okiya Omtatah of the underworld movements, with the possible infiltration of Somali Aliens who have aquired faked Kenya IDs. Those Mombasa NGOs who enjoined and facilitated the same and put up a face for “NO” but hide behind “YES” must not be taken lightly. Their Missions are not for the good of Kenya in total and completely. They are a complete sale-out and Atwoli, you take the torch and show them the way. Riches are not plucked from a tree but must be gained through hard work and moulding and fixing and balancing within Peace and Unity advocacy not otherwise.
Therefore, everyone must equally pay taxes without exception, all NGOs with their activities MUST be checked, assessed and evaluated with all Data made PUBLIC for CHECKS and BALANCES.
Kudos Atwoli and Sally Kosgey, where are other Ladies of the House, you have shown the spirit of leadership to public service, let others follow….
People it is 26 Days Count Down. Go Vote “YES” to gain People Public Power and be able to change and improve life for a better a better tomorrow. Your Destiny is in your hands. President Obama is our pride and mentor to CHANGE the world for better and to remove Poverty, Disease and War. So the World can be a better place to live in by all.
Where there is Poverty, there is imbalance of life, with exceeding Hate and Lamentation; where there is PEACE, there is Love and Unity. Where People will begin to be caring for each other truly and protect the Environment from destruction which preserves Life for all mankind, animals plants and other natural things of the world as was created by God now and for tomorrow – -then, We Will Be Able to Leave this World Better than We Found it. Au Sio People !
Chelewa chelewa utamkuta mtoto si wako…..Kweli kabisa…..na Mungu awabariki,
I love you all,
Cheers !

Cotu boss wants Moi, Ruto debate on new law
By DANIEL OTIENO

Central Organisation of Trade Unions secretary general Francis Atwoli has challenged former President Moi and Higher Education minister William Ruto to a public debate on the proposed constitution.
Mr Atwoli said the two leaders have been engaging in a deliberate campaign to derail the attainment of a new constitutional order by misinterpreting the facts in their campaign rallies.
“I want the two to come and face off with me and it will not be a propaganda war, we will go through it word by word so that they enlighten me on the defects they are going around the country preaching”, said Mr Atwoli during a rally organised to drum up support for the new constitution in Busia, western Kenya Saturday.
Mr Ruto and Mr Moi are the most visible prominent politicians within the group that is opposed to the proposed constitution.
They are joined by the Church to fight the new law on grounds that its provisions on land, devolution, kadhi courts and abortion are faulty.
The Cotu boss said the former President had a golden chance to redeem his image as a leader by paving the way for a new constitution but had instead came out of retirement to try and interfere with President Kibaki’s term.
Determine pay
He also accused parliamentarians of trying to push for the increase of their pay before the referendum, arguing that they knew that the new law provides for a remuneration commission that will determine public officer’s pay.
“The MPs are not being honest they want to blackmail us. The President should go ahead and order them to go home to campaign for the referendum,” said Mr Atwoli.
Mr Atwoli said that the pay hike puts the Kenyan MPs above their counterparts in stronger economies yet their performance is below par.
“The Kenyan MPs even have the guts to compare themselves with me and other chief executive officers of big companies yet they can not point out their input into the economy”, he said
He said that it was dishonest for MPs, who debated the document in Parliament and did not raise a finger, to trash it.
“The NO camp is nothing about the constitution, they are a group of politicians trying to carve a niche for themselves ahead of 2012. Unfortunately, Kenyans know that much and their manoeuvres will end on the voting day with a humiliating defeat.”
Referendum
I won’t relent on ‘Yes’ stance, says Kosgei

Agriculture minister Sally Kosgei on Friday vowed that she will not waver in her support for the proposed constitution.
Dr Kosgei said she will stick to this position irrespective of whether the majority of people in Rift Valley Province oppose the document.
She was speaking in Nakuru during the opening of the 110th Central Rift ASK by President Kibaki .
The minister dismissed her critics as “vuvuzela blowers” who had nothing to offer to Kenyans but were using the constitution as a campaign platform for the 2012 General Elections.
Unpopular
Reacting to media reports that MPs supporting the new laws had become unpopular in Rift Valley, the Aldai MP said those criticising them were self seekers. She asked them to stop tribalising the matter.
President Kibaki used the function to drum up support for the proposed constitution.
“I wish to state that our country is at the threshold of major reforms that are contained in the proposed constitution. This is why I support it and urge Kenyans to turn up in large numbers and vote for reforms on August 4,” said the Head of State.
He urged farmers, especially those in Rift Valley, to take advantage of the favourable production conditions to diversify through value addition.
