RAILA, STOP DAMAGING YOURSELF

I am tired of this casigations of anybody who disagree with Raila. Any body with sense will admit that Raila has grossly mis managed the threat of forming opposition. What is the reason for adressing this honorable members on PNU media and giving them ultimutum. His argument that this guys should resign before forming opposition is absurd. Why did he not resign himself when he moved from ODM to ODM-PNU alliance.

Even if the government defeat the bill you might only win the battle but not the war. Since the chicken have come home to rooste, what is Raila going to do with there mis-trust. You can not always lock them up like we did with there consent following election of the speaker. And then going everywhere saying that top ODM leaders (everybody knows whom you are reffering to) wanted Kenya divided, but yourself and Kibaki being the patriots you are rejected this idea

Let me tell you, that at this at this rate you will be damaged, that even Luo’s might not want to touch you with a 12 feet pole come 2012. And then come to Kisumu with two message for Luo’s ; stop “chuki” and that he came to prepare Kibaki visitation. I thought you are Prime-Minister Raila and not Kibaki’s minister? Act like it, stop fighting Musyoka for being Kibaki’s assistant. It seems everybody things higher of your position and status than yourself, I don’t think you grasp what 50 % means. Telling us to stop “chuki” either is purely a proble with your kiswahili vocabulary or
throwing us under the bus and being very un-grateful, you are glad I assume it is the first one.

Let me remind you Raila, it is our “chuki” which got you the Premiership, if you can only occupy the seat for God’s sake and stop trying to be Kibaki’s assistant. And it is people like Ababu who fought for you to get that position, the guy even took an oath of allegiance to you, so why turn
him to your enemy. The least you can do to is support his humble ambition. My theory is that you (Raila) needs to blame us (luo’s). Instead of putting you to task and asking you tough questions with your “zig- zag” politics for the 15 years, we never asked you for explanation. While we asked everybody else to explain themselves, Raila “mawuod Odinga” did not have to do anything. We only trused that though I do not see the way, you knows best and I will know at the end of the journey that you knew it all, simply trust your heart. We also demanded of our Luo MP’s to never question Raila. The problem is that you are trying the same with this 100 ODM MP’s, good luck with that sir.

Their is a myth amongst luo’s that there is a young man who was sentenced to life imprisonment without any chance of parole for robbery. With tears in his eyes he asked the court the privilege to privately address his mother for the last time. This young man asked the mother to lent her
ears but instead of whispering to it the scrupulous young man bit it. The moral of this story is, the mother never told him he was making a mistake, thereby leading him to believe he was right. Far be it removed from what Raila is doing but the tenets are the same.

Shame on you Raila, if the first people you are fighting for are Mungiki, ignoring that this people have 9 ministers on voted for you amidst such a great risk, but are now bombed and in shock and awe. How do you feel when Muite who is of a different party affiliation demands of you not only to reconcile with Mungiki but the Sabaot Land Defense.

I dont understand for heaven sake, why Raila is against grand opposition. Can some advice me please because am lost here.Opposition to this grand coalition government is very necessary.
Raila should read the signs of time, nikech wa joluo jowuotwa gi nyiwa died during the violeence and it is time we are also compensated not just talking to mungiki and settling the idps. joka nyanam wan bende nyaka konywa.

I can remember vividly when Raila was minister for roads he concentrated more on non luo nyanza roads and people said that was a strategy to win votes, fine we agree, but what about now. Does it mean talking to mungiki is also a strategy to win votes? No let it be.Captain you must address the abject poverty in luo nyanza in all aspects and not only by urging us to borrow loans.

Jodalawa be uneno kaka jolango loso ne jogi, kendo Raila nyaka tang ahinya ka pod odwaro bedo rellevant in kenya politics.
Captain revive nua all the collapsed industries like cotton, sugar and fisheries sector not telling us about a kibaki.

U made Raila u a god at your own perill, he now has what he wanted and is looking for Kikuyu vote to win 2012; if u think that he has anything for u think twice, his stomach is not yet full. Kibaki had improved economy and that’s why his people liked him; they r economy based but the rest of kenyans think that by removing kikuyus from the economic mainstream will benefit them; instead it will make Kenya generally poor and that is why the west support opposition in every economically improving country; Raila has now realised that he was beeing used by the west and is now encouraging his people to look towards investment; embrase kikuyu strategies and we all kenyans will move forward. I always say that Raila is informed and pro-modern but his followers follow blindly without reasoning. He knows who is important and at what time; Let kikuyus work together with Luos, and the rest will follow for the good of all. We have the best brains in all tribes let us never be used by the west!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111

I sure do not agree with Mr Ojwang’ on this:

Raila is the Kenyan Prime minister. This means that more than ever before, he must demonstrate national outlook in his politics. I for one would not be too comfortable with the PM specializing in having eyes on approach on Nyanza alone. He needs to look round the entire country, and even if he had a weakness for Nyanza, he cannot make it so obvious even before serious work begins sir! With due respect, a former VP was well known for paying almost all of his outings away from the city to his constituency in Nyeri.

During the last two elections: NARC and ODM campaigns, it was appreciated that Raila had clearly become of age – this explains why Kibaki campaign team in 2002 faced some imaginary hardship whenever Raila was not in the team but burst back to life as soon as Raila reappeared. His contribution towards restoration of peace in post 2007 election violence was commendable. He did not have to get along with Kibaki; after all his supporters would have insisted that takes a hard-line, judging from the recent reactions of Kisumu residents during his home coming. But is Mr. Ojwang sure that he would have been comfortable with continued post 2007 election violence? Raila is a tactful man. He would only lose credibility if his kinsmen like Ojwang’ insist on that kind of superficial assumption that Raila is involved in a self damage campaign. This utterance as yours sir, is an easy path way towards discrediting your own. Ask yourself: is Kibaki a perfect man? If not how many Kamaus have come out to criticize him. Certainly, his utterances are just not perfect.

If anybody needs to change it is us (you and me). We ought to be slow to react and when we do so, we act in such away that we do not damage our allies but spare our foe. Believe me it was an absolute lack of order and common decency for Kisumu residents to boo Raila when his mission was simply to thank Kisumu residents for their support during 07 elections and explain why (through efforts of international mediation team) ODM accepted to take half a cake as away out for this country out total collapse.

Grand opposition seems a good idea. If you look at the present composition of the cabinet, it would make sense to say that a grand opposition will take this country towards partylessness – or at least it will greatly weaken the political parties. In my view, ODM and PNU backbench is a more significant and vibrant opposition. The PNU backbench will point out any shortcoming of ODM ministers and vice versa. It is not true that Raila is damaging himself, after all Raila is an old man and no doubt the future politics is for the younger generation. It is the type of behavior I witnessed in Kisumu on May 10 2008 that I will declare is bound to damage the future of our people in Nyanza. It is not a weakness for Raila to urge us to support the coalition in which we are major stakeholders. The journey has hardly begun Mr Ojwang’ and we yet to reach the point where you and I can offer constructive criticism upon the PM and the government.

Let nobody play around with Hon.Eng.Raila`s name.Raila is a great Liberator!Weldone Agwambo!

  5. Jagem

Raila’s feature in Kenyan politics can only be guaranteed if he lends a hand to the fight for a new constituition with majimbo structures. Failure to do that will push him by the way side. Kenyan need the own the process of government and no president or prime minister can stop that.

  6. MZEE

Raila should know that he will never get GEMA votes, because if it goes to non-GEMA it will be Kalonso’s. If he ignores the plight of his supporters like Kalenjin in jail for post election and please Mungiki let him know that vote will be also gone. Therefore the coalition of GEMA, KAMBA AND A FEW KISSII IS UN DEFEATABLE. NGATO BER MATANG, RAILA DWA DWANYORE AHINYA. And honestly I doubt that even if he got presidency Luo’s will benefit. Now ODM fought for a ministry just for North-Eastern and marginalised communities, I can not understand why Raila thinks Luo’s are not this marginalised regions. Let me say this one more time, we shall not follow somebody blindly.

  7. Siwa Ratila

I am amazed at the inconsistency exhibited by Hon. Raila of late!! I really do not know what is happening to the man!! Why can’t he leave statements to his spokesman? Do you ever hear Kibaki talking evrytime they meet? Not so with Raila. He spews out immediately he leaves a meeting. And the more he talks the more he contradicts himself. And the PNU cohorts keep on laughing. Surely at this rate we shall not have anything in Raila come 2012.

In politics, the more you become mysterious, the more you confuse your opponents and the longer you last. Your opponents will keep on shadow boxing and fighting ghosts while you scheme. That is how Raila should behave. PNU will not sleep until they destroy ODM (read Raila). The writing is on the wall and Raila and his team better watch out.
