What if Moi was the first to support this Constitution?
The YES team have capitalised on President Moi dictatorial leadership to the passing of this constitution. They have capitalised that the president’s decades in leadership frustrated the reform agenda. But the fact is that none in the YES camp didnt serve under President Moi. They are all products of President Moi. Their revolt sprung after they realsied that the President had no intention of leaving office!
What if President Moi was the first to say YES – this Katiba is good? What if he gathered his son Gedion and start drumming support for this Katiba?
I think a number of you would have said NO. I think Raila would have said NO…….I wonder why civic education is all baout Moi and land etc. I wonder if Kenyans will trust leaders who enter into secret MoUs as well known for not honouring MoUs.
