Hi, am trying to get information regarding the above subject and cannot get anything. All documentation on HIV prevalence in Kenya doesnt have detailed information on such areas or even Bondo. The talk is all about the reduction of rates in the country but Nyanza area doesnt have that story. Could you kindly suggest which websites I could get the information?

Most public health data(HIV included) is aggregated. However, the CBS may provide you with disaggregated data if there has been a recent survey in the area. Alternatively, you can rely on the local counseling ant testing facilities which work with healthy populations(VCT). These rates are usually higher than the general population but serve as good reference points.

The current HIV prevalence rate inUSIGU is 29.4% compared to national level of 6.7%.
those starts(quoted above) may also be misleading depending on when the data was sampled and the sampling methodology itself.if you want the info as e general guide, you are ok, but nothing else
