With all due respect, we did not vote YES to amend the Proposed Constitution.
We voted YES to implement the Proposed Constitution.
I am shocked that Ruto and his team are demanding that we set up a team to look at the contentious issues. In the mind of majority of us Kenyans, we have no issues to look at. 6 million of us have endorsed this document as it is, and that is what we all want.
Ruto and his team must learn to loose magnanimously. They must now keep quiet and watch as we implement what we have endorsed. They must not attempt to blackmail us as a country.
They had 24 years to give us good governance and what did they give us; death, land grabbing, impunity, corruption, tribalism, nepotism and scandal after scandal. They should give us a break.
If they bring in any issues, we are still ready to vote YES.

Folks,
Tell Ruto, we want to taste the sweetness of the good things that the New Constitution has brought with it first, then take a sigh of relief from the hardcore struggle from the effect of the corruption by the corrupt, then as the mind composes and recollects the depths of the snuggle of corruption, we will list preferences for bandage on the economy. These are fundamental issues that must go first on hand before looking at Kandhi Courts or Abortion. People ! the face of a Sudhe cannot decifer, they must be tammed first for them to realize Liberty of a Nation. They will never take us to a corner again, never again, we are moving forward not backwards. That Ruto need a reality check !
Tumepata Uhuru Kwa Jasho! It is time for Forward strategy and we want to celebrate and we must therefore be in a mood to do that.
First and foremost, Ruto and like other Ministers of “NO” have to step down or MUST be relieved off their Ministerial jobs with immediate effect or else, these are incorrigible corrupt individuals whose teeth have been sharpened to tear off and corrupt the Nation to the bones. They must change with the CHANGE or CHANGE MUST CHANGE THEM. Let them join the spirit of a Statesman that, if you cannot beat them, join them.
Cheers !

Kenyans have spoken and the verdict is @ hand. If the no team leader thinks he has unfinished business to twist the minds of Kenyans, then he has either become operation headless or he doesn’t know what leadership is all about. In the first place, he should thank his gods that the Church joined him, otherwise ingekuwa haibu kubwa kwake na bwana Moi.
We want to move forward with the new law intact and if Ruto, Poghisio, Shaban and others feel they cannot serve in the current govt under the new law that they hate, it’s high time they relinquish their cabinet portfolios to the pave the way for pro reform leaders in the Cabinet.
Accommodating divergent opinions is a reflection of democracy but we must remember that, contradicting the policies and procedures of the govt you serve is never accommodated even in advanced democracies. Kibaki and Raila should do the necessary thing at the right time.

STOP making inflammatory statements. Do start sending message without thinking. We need Ruto and the rest of the leaders. They are Kenyans. I do not see any haibu for those who stood on the NO. They are courageous and not cowards.
Now check this: out of 40 million Kenyans only approximately 9million voted, out of the 9 million YES team won by approximate 5million! You cannot basically ignore the 3million who said NO. And therefore your statement is a sign of cowardice. The YES team had political heavy weights Kibaki, Raila, Uhuru, Kalonzo, Ngilu, Martha, and Church (SDA) etc including the Muslims. The NO garnered approximately 3 million with Ruto, and the Church. They did not use state resources nor did they have any mechanism to sway the voting pattern.
Dont you think that the NO and Ruto need to be congratulated for ensuring that the referendum was a democratic process where proponents and opponent had a chance to exercise their rights? Why are you shutting your good ears from the message President Kibaki and Raila have sent to Kenyans?
Now listen, real politics starts and definately Ruto has sent shockwaves. If this was a presidential election, we could have Ruto as a serious contender and he has tested the grounds.
Kombo Elijah
Elijah,
We want to move Kenya to the next level as a team.
I thought you were a man of figures, because, 5.9m cannot be approximately 5m. Unless I have not worked any figures in my life!
Now, Kenyans have made a loud statement. They want this Proposed Constitution implemented. Not amended. We must implement and for the next 7 years, we will look at how it is serving us, then, only then, shall we start looking at possibilities of starting to make any amendments.
We cannot be on the campaign trail all the times. We must implement, and wait as we watch for any possible defects. That should take 7 to 10 years. In the meantime, let us now focus on Vision 2030 and Nation Building.
Moi, Ruto, Njue and Karanja must now give us a break. They must not stand on our way. They had their time and they failed. They must now join us in implementation. They must keep quiet and lie low.
This is the wish of majority of Kenyans and we want the 2 Principles to respect our wish.
We have spoken, they must implement.
