Brother Keraro,
I have received the news of sister Lydia’s dead with great sorrow. Yes, I knew that Lydia was ill but I never knew that she would pass away that soon.
On learning of sister Lydia’s sickness, I took upon myself to call and talk with her so often. .I even sent her several emails encouraging her to hold on to her faith. Sickness, and now, the passing away ,came to Lydia too soon. She was such a wonderful person. There is no question that Lydia will be greatly missed.
To all the family members and friends of sister Lydia, Maranatha SDA church in Hopkins, Minnesota, my family and I, say pole sana. Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you. It’s a question of time before we go home. Until then, let us remain faithful.

The passing of Lydia Abincha has left such a big gap in so many of us that knew her, both family and friends. I got to know Lydia nearly 21 years ago. I have precious memories of her. In the past year I moved out here to take care of her. I am deeply saddened yet gratified that she is now in a place of no disease or fighting for survival. What an intelligent human being she was! I will miss her and I think all the other people that knew her as well. May the Almighty God Rest her in Eternal Peace!
