Is it fair to include the MPs who opposed the draft into this important committee? Will they work to derail the process or will they work hard to support it? I know already, opinion is already divided with those on the YES side supporting Implementation Now, while those on the NO supporting Amendment First, Implementation Later! How ill this be reconciled!
In my opinion, I tend to think that the people who supported NO should not be included in these committee since it is high likely that they will work to derail the implementation since they still have serious misgivings on issues such as Land, Gay Marriages, Abortion. My thinking is advised by several factors, among them the statement issued by the church leaders after the results, the statement coming from Moi regarding RV, the insisted of Ruto on implementation after amendment etc!
Thank you
