Hi Odhiambo,
I have read your report, I appreciate the political angle on which the report is framed.
Your report majorly appealed to the Luo Politicians and the locals.
However, the Yimbo in diaspora will missed our LUOCOME appeal and campaign to mobilize them to support the YDN initiatives at the grassroots.
We do not know our this can be interpreted as blue print to further our appeal to Calvin for food security in your Clan. In your introduction theme you missed the main foundation and background of your study tour. Kindly note that the tour was arranged by “LUOCOME leadership in diaspora, through me and our President Odundo to promote our partnership vision with Calvin for the entire Luoland from ” Odiado hills down to Wuoth Ogik Miuru, and therefore we were expecting you to widely dwell on the Yimbo Clan needs, the Yimbo do not have get a nod from any body rather than their own folks at home to set up a Development programmes for their villagers, the politicians come and go while Yimbo generation will remain.
I would kindly ask to revisit your reports and please advise if you would want me to forward it as it is to LUOCOME board across the world or you would want to make it look appealing to the Yimbo diaspora expectation.
Some of the politicians you mentioned in your report are in the past took adventage on Calvin for their own political mileage and which cause a lot of damaged control with the Clans and those concern in diaspora.
We are in contact with all of the our progressive MP’s as members at their own Villages and we do not encourage clan cross intruding in the name political powers and influence. For instance Dr Oburu works closely with us on Jo-Sakwa in diaspora and thus he represents Hon Raila’s in their village of Jo-Kowak and therefore LUOCOME must fetch the Sakwa in Diaspora to support him in development initiatives. Prof. Anyang’ will just represent Jo-Seme in diaspora not even Jo-Karateng’
Jo-Yimbo in diaspora will very happy and glad to hear you reporting what concerns them in LUOCOME forum, a road map to support YDN. this what they were waiting Sir.I remain hoping to hear from you.
Be Blessed,
Jadolo Okoth Otura
things are not that easy as we may be seeing.
