KENYA: MARTHA KARUA WANTS CORRUPT MPS NOT TO BE SWORN

Ogaro,

That is a great thought and great idea you have produced, you are the type of people Kenya needs today. Crime is a crime no matter who did it. There are those who only sees what others have done but completely forget their role in the society. We all saw also the BBC talk Martha Karua gave during post election violence, the whole world was shocked even whites wondered why such a post was given to such a human being.. Let her defend herself first before she raises other people`s mistakes. She is like somebody with dust in her own eyes but still insist to take out the other dust from someones else eyes while her own eyes are closed. A lot of people do not understand what corruption means or what democracy means, to her may be her role as a a minister for justice during post election violence and her role is not corruption or a crime what a shame that those are the people who still want to be next Kenyan president:::

Martha has been very vocal that corrupt MPs should not be sworn. However, I hope that her names tops the list of those who should not be sworn in. First, we have not forgotten about the only man standing standing at KICC on those dark days around the end of 2007 after bungled elections. She needs to tell us exactly what happened. She is one of the two ministers who pressured Kivuitu to release the results.

After her name has topped the list then now she can go ahead and tell those implicated in the following scandals to follow suit:

-Triton
-Angloleasing
-Goldenberg
-Maize
-Laico Regency
-General Mathenge (aka Lema Ayanu)
-etc etc

    CORRUPT LEADERS AND EXPECTED CHANGES

Martha Karua is right. It is naive to expect the corrupt to investigate themselves and punish themselves by making changes. The normal thing is that they will make changes that will make no changes and the status quo will always be in their favour. Impunity continues. Period!

Swearing them in is an insult to Kenyans.
