We are saddened to announce the sudden death of Nelly Atieno – Tolo which occured on Friday August 27, 2010. Nelly met her death through a tragic accident in Nairobi on her way to Uhuru Park where she planned to attend the Promulgation of the New Constitution. She was the daughter of Jaduong’ Elkana and Mama Maritha tolo of Kamagambo Kodero-Bara. She was the twin Sister to Jullie Tolo, Sammy Tolo, Debora Ochola, Lencer Tolo, Nina, Etrose,Tom, Monica and Dinah Tolo of New jersey. She was cousin’s to Justus & Amos Tolo of Texas, Lawi Tolo of Detroit, Patty Tolo of North Carolina, Atieno Kongoro of Canada, Lilian Kongoro of UK, Shem & Bob Kongoro and Vera Osore all of NJ. Friends and relatives are meeting at Tom Tolo’s residence at 2003 Holland Dr, Whitehall New Jersey. A fundraising to defray the mortuary cost and transportation of her body to Final resting place in Oyugis is planned for Saturday September 11, 2010 at Days Inn in Hillsborough NJ.
