The prodigal son was doing far much better at his father’s home than he knew.The father loved him as one of his children and did everything possible to protect and provide for his daily needs.

Un-happy with things at home as he perceived them,he decided to leave, but not until he had been given that which he deemed as his. Contrary to what he had expected, all left him and for once found himself without anything or anybody. It was after challenges brought him to his senses that he took note that after all things were better at home.

Despite all he had done,the father was not only willing to accept him but treated him as if he had not messed up!

Like the prodigal son,there are some of us who for reasons best known to us, we packed long time ago and took leave from all to do with our God:
1.We stopped to read the Bible and/or spiritual books
2.We stopped to go to church
3.We stopped to pray
4.We stopped to associate ourselves with our fellow brothers and sisters
5.We stopped returning our tithes and giving our offerings
6.We started eating,drinking or smoking that which affects our reasoning

Having been out there for sometime now, I think we realize too well that there is one-the evil one who is also interested in us-but for what purpose? To destroy us and if possible,kill us!

Dear friends, like the prodigal son,its about time we return home. You and I need to return the way we are. The father will surely accept us and help us to become that which He wants His children to become. Are you willing to return?
