Whether a dream is fulfilled is good or bad depends on the nature of the desire. It is good to the dreamer to achieve worth while goals, but not all goals are worth pursuing. When you set your heart on something, you may lose your ability to assess it objectivity. With your desire blinding your judgment, you may proceed with an unwise relationship, a wasteful purchase, or a poorly conceived plan. Faithfulness of our leaders and us is a virtue, but stubbornness is not. The old say found in almost all African dialect goes like this: `a rotten apple( in luo kudni) spoils the barrel`is often applied to poor relationship or judgments. So be very careful on whom you choose as your closest friends.

Powerful and rich nations are buying land from poor nations for food for their own nations. African nations are selling or lending most of their rich lands to those nations. Creating at the moment a food circle, food grown in Africa taken abroad and returned to sold to them. What African do not know is that the rich lands do not grow, but our populations grow very fast. African nations sell rich lands at the same time depending on international aid to feed its own population. Some countries have forsaken the population growth and have made plans for survival others are still sleeping plus their leaders.

Mathematics data are good evidence on whether we shall survive or not. Longtime ago before 1800, diseases were uncontrollable, people used to die very young. But after 1800 the world population have dramatically increased, because disease can be controlled and people live longer. We have seen a world population increasing from 2.5 billion to 6.9 billion just in the last 50-60 years. But do you know that the water we need and use for consumption is only 2.5% of all the water in the environment. On land, things are worse. An average African uses 1.37 acres of land, U.K 5.3 acres, USA 9.42 acres, Indian 0.5acres. So if everybody on earth here uses 0.5 acres of land like the Indians then the whole world can only be inhabited by only 15 billion people. The problem is that in China alone now there are children more than the whole population of USA today.

Since land does not grow but population grows, land should be considered as a resource and security for our future generation and our future survival. Good leaders with focus minds and good thinking will guarantee our future, but those who sell Kenyan land and resources to their friends should be done away with completely. It will not help that Kenyans migrate to rift valley as they did in the 1960s or 1970s. Drought is outside and most rivers and lakes will dry up leaving few land to be used for consumption. Rich powerful nations who will not find land for their people will take Africa just as they did long time ago if Africans are not waking up. The rich land Africans have sold to the rich nations will not be returned and Africans will see food growing on their soils but will have no access to that food hence dying because of lack of food.
