LUO MPS IN UNITY AND SUPPORT WE CAN MAKE IT

Over the years since the dawn of independence Luo Nyanza has never experienced any tangible development support because they have never been in government Our MPs have also been able to convince their electorate that their poor development records is because they have been left out in the cold because they pursued a different political agenda to that of the government. I wonder which one?

Whenever any Luo MP supports or is in the government the majority are against him irrespective of the development agenda he/she pursues. We have been used since independence for other tribe¢s political and economic gains. Lets us take a look at the Kisii Nyanza; these are people who have prospered because they are united and support each other. They are proud of what they achieved during the last three regimes. They control the transport system in the whole of Nyanza and have settled and constructed palatial buildings in almost everywhere. These are people who stay together as brothers and sisters.

We Luos are proud of nothing because we don¢t respect the systems concept in any undertaking. Each and every one is a sub system which wholly makes up the system geared to development. Let us not look down upon the poor or the less educated because they form part and parcel of the system. Now to see any Luo MP whether He /She has been given any portfolio in the government is not easy. It¢s like you want to see the already Risen Jesus.

I apologize to all our Luo MPs to know that they were elected by all the registered constituents¢ poor/rich, healthy/sick, young and old people .Let us work together for the benefit of all.

Nyabwala Omollo
Concerned Luo
