Before we debate on this issue publicly, we want to know which protocol was followed and which protocol ought to be followed.. we can’t just be told the sale was irregular and agree to it.. Orengo should explain to Wanjiku what was wrong about the sale of GR, Kimunya did not sell it to pocket the money, this money will boost our budget. Let’s wait for the meeting called by Raila. I like how raila has handled this issue, he has refused to be pulled into speculation and suspicion… Ragem, you surely wait for such stories.

Kimunya ,ever since he was appointed a minister,he has been
behaving as ubtouchable because of his closeness to Kibaki. He has been messing in all the ministries. He always take himself to
be super minister. He has never been a reformist at all.He believes that his closeness with Kibaki gives him power to
say anything and do anything. He is avery arrogant person with
little knowledge of personal politics of future.

Surprisingly,Kimunya led people to condemn the immediate former finance during Anglo leasing matter. By that he called
for the minister resignation. People thought that he would make
a perfect minister for finance though he had messed in the ministry of lands.

I remember being told by a friend who happened to have in the
company of Kimunya in one of the Mombasa hotels where Kimunya arrogantly boasted our Gema had worked a plan of
ruling for 100 years. He narrated how they were implement the plan by forcing Odinga to resigned by putting pressure on him.
To him Raila was to be removed by employing the very tactics
Kenyatta employed when removing Raila’s father.

This was the very tactics this gema mafia by abusing Raila all
time by even ordinary mps and his fellow ministers from gema.
The aim was to make Raila feel the heat until he could resign.
Kimunya boasted how the plan was to work with Somalia and small tribes.Kimunya had been in the centre of gema mafia ever
since Kibaki to over from Moi.In fact, being in the centre of this
dangerous group,he is always looking himself to be above other
minister.Again,Kimunya’s knowledge of Accounting makes him think that he is very knowledgeable in politics too.

Let him resign even as a member of parliament.Kenyans can not
trust aman without honesty and integrity to be a leader. We want to get rid of cunning and immoral leaders for sake our kenya.Kenyans should not entertain leaders who do not live to its moral standard. Kibaki should not appoint Kimunya for any public posts at all.Kimunya has ashamed the president after promising to deal with corruption once again.

BY getting rid of Honorable kimunya now after the Grand Regency hotel sale saga, the kenyan public confidence in the running of the grand coalition shall have been boosted. more so, everyone, MPS included shall see that the fight against corruption is on. The president and the premier shall also be seen to be working for a common purpose in the service of the country.Even though the decision to voluntarily resign his position shall dent the ego of the once flamboyant politician for kipipiri and dent his political future and to an extent his backers, it would not augur well for the minister to stick like tick and wait bow to too much pressure. He should resigh honoursble to pave way for further investigations.Who knows kimunya may bounce back with abang due to future political realighnments?

When Kimunya was appointed Finance Minister he said “let me be clear – there will be no Kimunya Leasing” . He was refering to Anglo Leasing Saga that saw his predecessor David Mwiraria step aside. Now he has his own and Kenyans are left wondering if Kibaki is serious about tackling corruption. If at all it’s true that Kimunya and his likes are out to frustrate the PM, then Kimunya’s defiant behavior and Kibaki’s silence over the Grand Regency matter are clear signs. Also the cancellation of the cabinet meeting which was scheduled for Thursday 03/07/08 to discuss Kimunya’s actions is another indicator. These goons and glutons are out to frustrate the PM so that the Grand coalition can be dissolved. Whether they will succeed or not is something only Kenyans can decide.
