Very true Joram, The number of incompetent people in office in Kenya is just too scary. It’s time most of these people went home, Kimunya should do the most honourable thing of resigning just to pave way for investigations. If he is as smart as we all think, maybe he should name all the Big Dogs involved in all the scandals and join the “grand opposition” , this will also boost his political career and put him back on cause. Woud ragem, this scandal has shed some light to many kenyans, that it is them against the politicians and not against each other. Speaking to people on the ground, even the staunch PNU supporters are disgusted at Kimunya and co conduct. Maybe, just maybe this scandal is uniting the people of Kenya.

All this noise about Hon. Kimunya is another ploy by the PM and his cronies to take hold of one of the most powerful ministries. They are not done wrecking the country in their quest for more power and its now clear that the two factions (ODM n PNU) will never work together. Some of the loudest critics of the G.R sale are angry because they were left out(read Orengo). Had they been offered a slice of the pie, we would be looking at an entirely different scenario. Lets quit the DOMO about G.R sale coz even if it had stayed in the hands of the government, it would only have helped a few rich slobs get richer. Kimunya has proven that he can survive the game that defines Kenyan politics coz any smart mwananchi will tell u its abt money, money, money. Kimunya has the potential to go places and didn,t become a finance minister by accident, so, come next general election, KIMUNYA FOR PRESIDENT

That does not make sense Karuku, Orengo is the Minister for Lands. Everyone knows that land is the basis of many development hence the ‘nyakua’ policy by Kenyatta, which was also continued by Moi in ‘fuata nyayo’ mascarade. Whereas Kenyans have been divided and cheated, this time we are united like Kiereri observes. Otherwise explain why Karua, Muite, Imanyara, Mungatana, Kilonzo, Githunguri and many others are supporting the allegations against Kimuya. You may continue wagging the dog to divert attention with your tribalistic reasoning when Kimunya & Co have been caught red handed.

However, I put it to you, the last election brought Kenyans to see the worst of us when we killed each other. From the signs I am seeing lately, that was the last time a Kenyan blindly and idly stood by when it was obvious Wanajiku was being raped, killed or robbed. On the other hand, I too admired Kimunya in his zest and youth as he performed his duties as Finance Minister. However, due to the allegations leveled against him, he needs to step aside as investigations go on. If he is found clean, he can be reinstated. If he is not found clean, Kibaki should have the courage to fire him altogether. Jomo Kenyatta or Moi men enough to fire. Is Kibaki only ‘Domo’? As for him gunning for the presidency next time, the race is wide open.
