Kenyans,
I think the truth will save us, and doing things the right way will help Kenya to improve her people`s life style and will bring development.
If we learn to do things which are important in the right way our country will move forward, but laying and cheating to satisfy a few people will spoil this country much deeper.
I am surprised to hear now what is happening in Egypt: EGYPT`S RULING MILITARY COUNCIL ANNOUNCED THAT WORK ON REFORMING THE COUNTRY`S CONSTITUTION IS TO BE COMPLETED IN 10 DAYS. Good people; how can what took Kenya 20 years take Egyptians only 10 days?. What are our brains made of in Kenya?. Are we Kenyans that stupid or having very low IQ compared to the pharaoh`s people or what?.
Kenyans have behaved so stupidly on the new constitution and now we are almost stuck on implementing it. Does this explain why we Kenyans can not develop to catch up with the Asian countries or what?.
I think Kenyan development deserves the attention of sophisticated youths and middle class plus highly well off part of society who have the resources to invest in the country. Those who have stolen Kenyan tax-payers money or assets and thrown abroad should not have any part in Kenyan leadership if we want to move forward. The can lead only if they bring those money back to Kenya and invest.
We Kenyans have no short cut to better development and understanding how to survive in our God given land. We need a new cultural thinking and behavior in building blocks of our Kenyan technology or development. Unless we change our thinking way and capacity we shall remain behind other nations fore ever.

The problem with Kenya: political and Economic /development has nothing to do with “stupidity , low IQ,lying , cheating, lack of Sophisicated youths, middle class…,” Allow me to be the “master of stating the obvious” to you and your readers on this one. Kenya has all the aforementioned factors that you have listed in your article. What has impeded meaningful development in all sectors of this society is the “THE OLD TRIBALISM” that permeate your country in “everything”!!!
I am glad you mentioned Egypt. I would bet you that what the youths of Egypt did in their country CANNOT be done by youths of Kenya. With 42 + ethnic groups in this country where each group is religiously loyal to their “own”..the chances of your youths coming together to address national issues like political change is only wishful thinking. Look at crop of your current politicians today how they avoid national issues.
In your life time and mine, I can’t see how the youths: of Mt. Kenya region, Nyanza, Rift valley province can come together to affect national political change in this country . It is “follow one of your own syndrome” in your country. Without naming names, all your tribal leaders turn politicians have strangle hold on the youths from their ethnic groups and regions. These leaders will not allow these youths to cross over to unite with others to bring the needed change to this country. Any body who think that the “divide and conquer” died at the end of the colonial era in this country …has not been paying attention on how your current leaders plays”ethnic political identity cards” in advancing their interest.
You are quite right that those who have “..stolen tax payer money should..not be apart of Kenya leadership….” I would also add those who have tortured, looted public resources, abused their authority from: Presidents to Civil servants should not hold any public office in this country. But all of us know this is wishful thinking or pipe dream. In your country again, when the same politicians caught abusing power or stealing money from the public as individuals, they often use the cover that they “ethnic group” is being singled out for their allegedly offense.
The “tribalism cast” in Kenya will never allow your country to move forward to catch up with some Asian country as you would like. In case of Egypt ..”raping their constitution in 10 days..”, this has nothing to do with “stupidity or low IQ of Kenyans. What Egyptians had over Kenya is the : common language and religion. Kenyans are not stupid people with low IQ my friend!!!!!!!
