FEATURE: Kenyatta Family Must Cede Land They Grabbed to IDPs

The problems that Kenyans are facing today are as a result of the injustices committed by Kenyatta and his then henchmen.

It’s a pity to hear some IDPs say they don’t know their original homes. This is a lie. In general, an African will still know his home even if he lived (or born) in foreign country for 50 years. How on earth can somebody lose memory as to forget his or her original home? I have a nephew who was born in US, after his father’s death he decided to stay there but when he was 30, he traced and reached home very easily.

The truth is that their homes were grabbed by Kenyatta and his powerful cronies of that time. The truth must be said because this is the only time to correct the injustices otherwise we will live with them until Jesus comes back.

It is a fact that Kenyatta family owns land equal to the size of Rwanda, mostly prime and productive land. A fact nobody from Central Province even those who are now suffering in IDP camps are talking about.

It is also a naked fact that Kenyatta and his men grabbed chunks of land in Central province and “forcefully” settled the victims in Rift Valley without consulting the natives. Unlike Jaramogi, who said NO GRABBING in Nyanza, Moi, in his desire to get favours from Kenyatta, never questioned or resisted the move. This is the genesis of the problems.

It is time Kenyans start asking the Kenyatta family how they acquired such huge land while other Kenyans have nowhere to put their head. This is the greatest injustice Kenyatta should be remembered with. Kenyans must be united to fight this injustice and monster called landlessness and “over-landfulness”.

    Dear Jaluo Press.
It is high time we say the truth. After the greed by the Former Home Guards, the children of true Mau Mau fighters are now being misused as Mungiki. Let Mungiki know that their Fathers and Mothers fought for the land they are being denied. Let them know that the rest of Kenyans are not their enemies. They should demand their Ancestral Right by claiming the land that belong to them. The Coffee Farms were formerly for the whites but were taken over by children of home guards. The elite Home Guards must surrender part of that land before they accuse other tribes. Why is it that only the Kikuyus have problems with land? Why is it that only the Kikuyus have problems with ther tribes. They have been incited against other tribes by the Home Guards to divert attension of the land grabbing in central. LET THE TRUTH BE TOLD SO THAT MUNGIKI CAN KNOW WHO THEIR REAL ENEMIES ARE.
    Keet it up Jaluo Press

If you go to Njiru to buy building stones, there lies a large chunk of land belonging to the Kenyatta’s where quarying is done. For evey lorry load of anything from that land, you part with 1000 shillings. Who gave them that land? The entire Embakasi area is being sold on their behalf. How can one family collect over 300,000 shillings per day out of no sweat whereas their clansmen are dying in the diaspora. He hires the IDP’S to fight on their stollen wealth, defending their greed.

Not only Kenyatta’s but all grabbers in central province who grabbed former mau mau fighters’ land. It is land in central province which made the mau mau to fight. They never fought for grabbers who were former homeguards to enjoy at their expense. Therefore,Kenyatta and his like should surrender some of the land they have in central province to the displaced. This should be the first step of reconciliation for future peaceful coexistence.

Such remarks need to be substantiated, what proof do you have that the land was stolen or grabbed. Come on, it’s 2008, you need to stop talking out of your back side and think straight. The world is too global now for such shallow accusations.

I think you must be avery worried man, after supervising such a sadistic, guttorous, tribal and inciting website, what did you achieve, now that RO will be enjoying power and priviledges that come with it, where does that leave you, at one time you advocated civil strive and i can assure you if there are people who should be prosecuted for war mongering and perpertuating tribal hatred you should not escape this, whether you are how far and one thing is certain the law will in one way or another catch up with you. All your wrtings prior and after elections are kept very safely.

ITS VERY HYPOCRITICAL FOR UHURU KENYATTA TO ALLEGE THAT THE FUEL GUZZLERS MINISTERS USE, ONCE RETAINED, THE MONEY WILL BE USED TO SETTLE THE IDPS, WHO STILL LANGUISH IN POVERTY MORE THAN 16 MONTHS SINCE THE POST ELECTION CLASHES, YET HIS FAMILY OWNS LAND THAT IS EQUAL TO THE SIZE OF NYANZA PROVINCE OR THE WHOLE OF RWANDA. THE FIRST THING HE COULD HAVE DONE IS TO SURRENDER PART OF THE LAND THEY GRABBED IF HE WANTS KENYANS TO VIEW HIM WITH POSITIVE ATTITUDE.
