A group of self proclaim ODM-diaspora secretariat residing in Washington DC metropolitan together with few sorted members of their club from other States in the USA, were recently whisked away by the combined Kenyan and USA security agents detail of the visiting Kenya Prime Minister, Hon Raila Odinga.
This ugly incident occurred when the Kenyan PM, Raila was speaking to US Government officials and members of the Centre for Strategic International Studies at full packed the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington DC.
The said group who has been bullying a veteran Kenyan lady prominent politician and a long time lieutenant of the Odinga’s Family through mad smearing propaganda in the Internet, found themselves desperately waiting in vain at cold night chilly weather at heavily guarded Hotel gate hoping to be allowed in to see the PM and present their bulky resumes to the PM for jobs and or government appointments.

The boisterous and arrogant group was dismissed by the PM, aide as self seekers, who are merely scheming for their own selfish gain. And are regarded as cartel of fraudulent agents of the former PM aide Mr David Arunga who was sacked soon after the general election because of campaign funds scam.
The Kenya PM, who has been invited by the US government and is on a three-day official visit. So far has met with Secretary of State, Ms Condoleeza Rice and top Congress figures, World Bank officials and the business community.

This is “who is more loyal than whom” item is not part of the Luo psyche. PM Odinga is our brother, child or father. That is all. Moreover, PM Odinga was in DC as Kenya’s PM, if Ambassodor Ogego–a fellow Luo–appeared to have “owned him” I don’t see any problem with that. The idea that the ambassodor, a known Odinga family friend and former employee and one of the few Luo in an ambassodorial posting– is a Kibaki-Tuju Man is heartbreaking to some of us who have been in this world for some time. This posting does not belong here; there are more pressing matters affecting our people back home.
Disgusted.
