From: Faulu Suba
Last weekend, Francis Atwoli of COTU helped raise KES 2,000,000 for our Lady of Orore School in Gwassi District.
He was accompanied by Cyprain Awiti who was warmly received in the function by local politicians George Mboya,
former MP Felix Nyauchi, Jack Otana a host of other local politicians.
In attendance was Caroli Omondi of Prime Minister’s office and other senior civil servants and academicians.
In the meeting that was snubbed by the local MP, those who addressed the function talked of need to improve on
educational standards, health care, access roads and political representation and leadership.
Atwoli talked against rampant corruption which still bedevils our society.
this is shallow and incompetent reporting. Can you tell us what happened?, why the local MP snubbed the function; whether any political speeches were made; why Cyprian Awiti received a standing ovation and who contributed how much?
Rubus, that was a summary of the function according to Faulu. If you have another version you are free to tell us. Even the much acclaimed christian gospel is told by different witnesses differently thus, the Gospel according to Mathew, and other different perspectives by Luke, John and Mark. The different versions do not, however dilute the gospel.
The important thing is that Atwoli in the company of the people mentioned in the absence of area MP, helped raise KES 2,000,000.
it was planed, and well devoted by those who made them realised the same.
we are happy for the contributions.
