Moving the motion, Saboti MP Eugene Wamalwa said though the elders play a crucial role in assisting the Provincial Administration to deliver services, there is no legal or remunerative recognition for them. Seconding the motion, Kinangop MP David Ngugi said the elders should be formally incorporated in the Provincial Administration.
