Kenya: Follow the Constitution — That is all.

From: Keen Nyamwange

Party of No Unity (PNU) never ceases to amaze me in their luck of National interest. They care less about the Constitution but all they think about is ways and means to out-smart the other side. My position is clear: PNU or ODM it does not matter, please adhere to the law of the land and put politics aside when it comes to matters of national security. Democracy must be protected by all. This is why we had blood shed in Kenya in the first place. Great care must be taken to prevent another bloodbath. It is simple: Follow the Constitution. This should be clear even to the least learned. The Speaker of the House gave them a chance which they blew. Now, just let the two Principals go back to the drawing board and stop creating a stage for another mayhem.

Mr. Nyamwange, It is interesting to see your President “climb down with his tail between his legs” to dump his unconstitutional nominees. Again, the people of Kenya won on this one. I don’t know how old you are!!!.. when did you think that in your life time any President decision in anything would be reversed ??????????

.Look up what Kenyatta and Moi used to do with these courts , Parliamentary debates and public opinions when ruling with decree??. The court ruling, Speaker ruling , Wako opinion, Progressive MP reformers, Non government organizations and the court of public opinion were too much for the President to over come in his insistence to fight for these nominees. The same pressure should continue in any decision made by the President or by the parliament that may go against the public interest in this country.

Your President is being poorly served by his political allies who don’t have understanding of your new constitution. Why didn’t your President use/ take Mr. Kilonzo’s advice in legal matters?????. It is sad to see your President relying on the advice of people like Kalonzo,Ruto, Uhuru who have personal interested in the out come of these appointments only to “save their skins” with legal troubles they are in.

It was not long ago when the VP Kalonzo was flying from one African capital to another to garner support for Kenya pull out from ICC. During this campaign I heard this VP praising Libya Ghadafi for supporting Kenya position..some of us were wondering when did Ghadafi became role model in dealing with Human Rights which ICC trial is all about!!!. I would like some one now to show the VP what Ghadafi is doing to his people as we speak and ask him if Kenya want to be associated with people like Ghadafi in pleading his case to UN Security council for deferral?????.

MR. Nyamwange, I know you have seedling democracy be assured you have something good going for your country. Encourage your friends and young people of this country to study your new constitution …. and you will be always ahead of these tribal politicians in issues dealing with constitution no matter what laws they passed in parliament!!!
