The State of Economy in Kenya…….A Result of Bad Leadership and Poor Management…..

from Judy Miriga

Folks,

There is absolutely no good reason why Kenya should be in this pathetic bad situation if corruption and impunity is translated to be leadership “Cup of Tea”…..

Kenyans are today pulling together to buy food in bulk so they can atleast afford to eat chicken, or buy maize and other grains from the boarder of Uganda, so they can have a meal to survive,……..is this the way to Reform, to go without food when Leaders engage in 100% total corruption…….or continue to sugar coast leaders who have no focus……and are busy selling birthrights to Chinese on the scale of valueless…..???

Within the gamble, the Chinese are dailly going to the bank smiling……..when Kenyans are going to bed dailly terribly worried and scared of what will become of them in the near few months if not years…….What a sad case scenario….!

If you can pull together in search for food, you can pull together for Change to Reform…………It is therefore fundamentally necessary, to pull together for Change, to Reform lifestyle for a better tomorrow…….We are glad Hon. Khalwale is in the House, we need more of Khalwales………so things can begin to change for better…

Cheers …. !

It is really unfortunate Mheshimiwa that we are still asking for donors to give us maize, beans etc…. This country is far much behind. I understand from economics that some years ago we were far much better than Malasyia and Singapore… but these countries now are far much ahead… What happened? where did we lose our footing, is this for political gain, and if so what are we going to do about the political issues which are driving our country to high levels of poverty?

What about corruption, how much are we prepared to fight this war, and what has been done to the culprits, does politicizing everything the reason we are losing this war?

Majority of those corrupt and with huge amounts of money, are the MPS and MINISTERS, PSes, Parastatal HEADS, how then are we going to overcome this vice if those who we call our leaders are preaching water and drinking wine?

If you become the president, what are the five key elements shall you tackle which you believe that they are the ones slowing down our economy?

We need a sobre president!!

Dear all,

This week you have seen what parliament can accomplish when partisan politics is put aside and focus on doing something. The passing of the two crucial bills was one step toward the implementation of the new constitution. We don’t need to wait until the last minute to extend sittings so we can get some work done.

We also saw the President declaring drought as a National disaster. It’s unacceptable a country that has agriculture as the backbone of its economy, have thousands going to bed hungry and even many dying. Food is power and we have to make sure that every Kenyan can enjoy a meal, which is available and affordable, and it does happen in poorer countries like Bangladesh.

Our country is capable of producing enough for our population and even more. It’s upon us to embrace the new farming technologies because with the climate change it is getting harder to rely on rains. It’s also upon us to make sure we have leaders who are ready to work for the whole nation, to eliminate and eradicate the known and perennial problems that we experience year in year out.

My hope is that we realize how important it is, to have food security, we take the necessary steps to make hunger in our country a thing of the past. I am ready to work with leaders across board to make sure it happens, for food security is a starting point of better, more equal and prosperous nation. You can also assist to see to this prosperity by Sharing this with a friend.
