Last week, Barack accepted the Democratic nomination with the support of
80,000 people in Denver — and tens of thousands of Buckeyes gathered at
homes and campaign offices to enjoy the moment. It was a historic occasion
— the culmination of 19 months of hard work by supporters like you.
With only 60 days left until Election Day, and early voting starting in
25 days, you can make a big impact right here in Ohio by joining our movement
for change as a Neighborhood Team Leader.
We’ll be counting on our Neighborhood Team Leaders to reach out to friends,
family, and neighbors, to tell them more about Barack, and grow our movement
the most effective way possible — face-to-face contact with your fellow Buckeyes.

This week, we’ve seen the Republicans mock grassroots organizing and —
what’s worse — the very idea that ordinary citizens can change their country.
But all across the state, our Neighborhood Team Leaders are proving them
wrong, working hard to grow this movement for change. This video shows the
amazing work they’re doing and should give you an idea of what you can do
to make a difference.
As an Ohioan, you know how crucial our state is, and how a few votes can
change the country. We lost this state by about 9 votes per precinct
in 2004 — if you can find just a few votes for Barack in your neighborhood,
you can make the difference in this election.
No experience is required. Our staff will provide you with everything you
need, every step of the way. All you need is passion for change and a commitment
to turning your enthusiasm into action.
