Dr. Abonyo,

Abende a yes gi suggestion mari mar Ndolo wuod oganda. If others agree with this then Ndolo you will need Kujitolea, to keep this money, and hand it over to Orinda at the ripe time.

The ball is back to you Jokanyanam let us spring to action. Unity is power. Can we show this power?

For the time being I think we send the cash through that “DIRECT INJECTION” .Much better
Later we can use any other avenue.

The first time I and four other persons got together to raise something small for Orinda, we channeled the money through our reliable source in Nairobi. But we waited untill a Bale of used Clothes were brought from Arusha in person by the Honorable Lady “Caro,” just call her that for now. Our reliable source then Volunteered to travel to the place where Orinda was staying at that time. It was something you could not realy call a home, it was more less a shanty. But our source still found orinda and handed him the five figure money and clothing we had raised, amongst five of us. This is why I believe in Unity and action

During that time, one of the things that Mzee needed badly was counselling in addition to shelter. We networked but a Free counsellor was hard to come by. So one of us volunteered and took it upon herself to get Mzee a counsellor. I must admit I never followed on this, so I do not know whether he received couselling or not.

Despite all that history, I am still willing to nyuako gi yawa mosee wuok e lela mondo okony Mzee. I need to know how the money will be collected and kept safely, cause not so many people will volunter to keep a lot of money safely, especially during these hard times.
Times are tempting and it is very easy for a “BWANA KUBWA” to spring up, while in reality Bwana kubwa will only be misappropriating the “Orinda Ndege Funds”

If the source will not be reliable 100%, then I would rather I send my donation “DIRECT INJECTION” to Orinda himself, that way, the money will not get another avenue to lead it astray from Mzee.

So Jokanyanam give me that reliable source, I can raise some 50 Dollars for this course.

Nyithi Ramogi

‘Kithini kod chapni’ kaka Juirus nene owachono ema omiyo andiko kendo.

We all seem to be have been touched by Mr.Ndege’s tragic story. For sustainability, I suggest, if we can have 2 reliable people on the ground (Kenya) who are willing to volunteer to pay a visit to Ndege and encourage him to gain, say, some basic business skills to start a small shop or farming which will support him longterm. We then set ‘Ndege fund’, make donations to that fund as he gains these skills. The 2 coordinates the fund as we make our donations say for 6 months or so. The 2 could be Bwana Patrick Obiero and Dave Ndolo or any other person willing to service (advance apologies to Patrick and Dave for having not asked for permission before proposing them).

If we are serious about strategic change in Luoland, I believe this is the way to go, in our own little way. The multiplying effect could be unbelievable within a very short time span. Our people will not change or develop is they are not empowered. As we, say, show a man how to fish rather than serve him fish now and again.

I trust we will not bring politics here. Forget about our MPs please and the blame game. I also trust, we will act with a clear consciouse and NOT opt-out now or be passive on this matter because contributions/donations has been mentioned.

Thank you

Odus
