I agree with you brother but we as kenyans need change, change to our way of thinking.A change that will deliver us from the york of ethnic backgrounds. For sure even if we go for another election, we can only change the tune but the same song of blame game.We have ideologically assumed that our politicians are leaders but the case is different. For now we can say we dont have leaders, from the president , prime minister along with the mps.All we have is a clique of people out to exploit kenyans with thier own selfish gains. So where do we go from here
I think its the high time we gonna come together and be a one PEOPLE because Jan 2008 we were many tribes killing each other, come 2009 we are KENYANS DYING OF STARVATION.While our so called ministers , and mps are pocketing hundrends of thousands.
We have to get a fresh person without stains of politics, we must accept him whether from which background, we must give him confidence and support, we must go down and pray for this person. Now it is not from the line of Kenyatas, Odingas, kibakis or other prominent people we hear. The person must be ready to change the settings of the government, denying mps the right to make laws and empowering our judicial bodies, When this time come we will recapture the Kenyan lost Glory.

It is now imperative that this government is dissolved and fresh elections called. This may sound harsh and too soon but there comes a time when hard decisions have to be made for the sake of posterity.
We have a government that is limping along under the burden of illegitimacy, the burden of rampant corruption and split loyalty to the two Principals. The issue of split loyalty is a dangerous precedent and a threat to democracy, service delivery and smooth running of government.
Today we all know that there are Minister’s the President cannot sack as they owe him no loyalty even though they pledged to do so, he is a harmstringed lame duck who is wobbling without any proper direction for this country and has to look over his shoulder ( at the Prime Minister) before he does anything!
This has become the recipe for inertia, from public service appointments to dealing with corruption.
Kibaki may or may not have won the elections but his actions during and after the bungled elections are now the strings bind him for the next 4 years, along with the rest of us. We as Kenyans, must say no to such bondage and share in this dilemma. We cannot have a non-functional government for another 4 years, with the Minister for Finance projecting that salaries may have to be cut for it to survive? Survive for whom? The 40 plus Ministers? The tax evading MPs? the never performing AG, Chief Justice, KACA Director, etc etc?
The people of Kenya must start a peaceful revolution that will reclaim their country and give it direction. We must, if need be, refuse to be governed like this, refuse for our money to be taken by thieving Ministers gatecrashing into functions for which it has been made clear they are unwanted, stealing food meant for the poor and conniving with crooks to defraud our country and its institutions. We must refuse to pay taxes if our taxes will not be used to satisfy our needs as a country. If the worst comes to the worst, we must be ready to sacrifice comfort for the sake of our future generations.
It is time to demand that this government steps down because it is no longer leading us somewhere but just anywhere a new day brings…..and that could be right into a failed state situation.
I therefore submit that fresh elections be conducted within the next 1 year to elect a leader that is not shamed by decisions he makes knowing very well that he does so on our behalf, with confidence and with our mandate.
