I would like to be a fly on the wall in the military jet that flew Kenya and Uganda
ministers to worthless trip to Migingo Island the other day. I wonder what these
ministers were talking about or who was hosting who on the Island. May be Kenya ministers
wanted to see how Uganda flag was flying over their land. If these same ministers had
the current map showing where Migingo is located they might have not given Uganda
ministers a ride to the Island. It is only in Kenya where occupiers are given royal
escort to the land that does not belong to them. Why didn’t Uganda ministers fly from
Bugiri where they are launching/staging their occupy force to Migingo Island?. These
Kenya ministers who came to Migingo Island reminded me of some one “coming to the gun
fight with knife or club” It as unconscionable for these ministers to travel to their
own country under Uganda army control. Weather these ministers want to admit or not,
Kenya flag in NOT flying on Migingo Island and Uganda is now calling shots in Migingo.
If these Ministers were serious why didn’t they bring at least token military contingency
fore with them to send the message to Uganda army on the Island?, why didn’t these
ministers stay on the Island over night to send the message that this is their country?
and why didn’t they even open central government local office on the Island to show
that..every piece of land in Kenya counts regardless where it is located?.
Mr. President Sir you recently said that..Migingo issue will be solved peacefully..” when
are you coming to the Island to deliver this message to Kenyans in this lake region
area?. Your Ministers were here but their visit did not accomplish anything Uganda flag
is still flying over our land. Mr. president Sir take a look at the map again and you
will see that Migingo Island belong TO YOU.” It has been said that “possession is
nine-tenths of the law”… right now Sir you and your government do NOT own this Island.
Please, Mr. President don’t even wait for the new map to be drawn to determine which
country owns Migingo Island. Migingo Island is in Kenya! and you have the right under
international law to protect this island regardless of its’ size. Kenya citizens living
in this lake region areas and on the Island don’t want to be occupied by another
country. Our fishermen and traders are not asking you and your government for loans to
further their trade. Only the protection and security that they are entitled to as Kenyan
citizens.
Mr. President your armed forces SHOULD NOT ONLY be responsible to protect major cities
, land borders or be used during election seasons but must be used to protect the
Island regions regardless of their remoteness or greater distance from the mainland
region areas of this country. How long can you believe what the government of Uganda is
telling you in private. Recently Kenya delegation was sent Uganda and the communique was
from the meeting was for Uganda to pull out their military personnel from the Island .
The other day ministers from your government came to the Island and Uganda Military are
still occupying your country Sir..how long can our country wait to get our Island back?
Again, this is the time we must put our differences aside to protect the country we all
love.Letting the lake region people on their own be occupied by Uganda will NOT benefit
the remaining regions of Kenya who are currently are not affected by Uganda aggression.
Yo were elected and took oath to protect this country and now you must take action to
bring our Island back.

Subject: THEY CAME..THEY WENT..MIGINGO ISLAND IS STILL UGANDA RULE!
Kibaki must be told in black and white that if he sold Migingo to Museveni in exchange of arms and Uganda soldiers who killed people in the lakeside town of Kisumi, he better tell him (Museveni) to remove his soldiers because post-election violence is over and the country is back to nomalcy unless he wants us to mobilize our people leaving in the lake side to demolish the railway line which connects the country and Uganda.
Kibaki seems to be very insensitive to whatever is going in this country, his just sleeping in state house and waits for Lucy to tell him to go to the press that their marriage is at stake.
Since independence we have not got a president who is a disgrace to the people like Kibaki, his leadership style is like that of somebody who wants to leave this country worse than he got it. If he is not interested in the welfare of the people he better quit because he was also not elected to be the country’s president. Bure kabisa
Now Museveni behaves like Idi Amin.
A man who won’t die for something is not worth living. so Mr. president, if you are not ready to die for Migingo island then you are better dead than just occupying a space in the state house. Leadership is not about position but it’s about action. Act fast!
what the president is waiting for in maps could be a disaster for kenyans.i come from western province and am told we all belonged to baganda upto naivasha.the baganda and the luhyas have something in common that makes us feel that we are in this part ilegaly.my suggestion is that kenyan authority should act as it acted in 1970,s and 80,s when similar threats were issued.non of us people living today can claim our origins where we are.we have come along way.Museveni must be forced to adjust to the 21st century ideologies and not to take us back to the 18th century.am told that museveni himself is not a ugandan but an imigrant from Rwanda.CAN HE GO BACK TO Kagame?lastly our military seems to be politicised what are they for?why are we spending lots of tax payers money in maitaining alot that seems not to understand their role i n the country? i Salute teso youth for standing in solidarity with our migingo brothers.mr president should be made aware that kenyans are capable of defending themself if he can not respond to abasic cry from migingo island.the youth and the communities living at the borders should develop defence forces to ensure the enemy does not cross over since the militayr can not help.wake up kenyans and make enough noise to state house balcons
am waiting for a day the sultans of zanzibar will claim mombasa as theirs. i would expect mr balala to support them .mr balala does not see anything wrong in migingo,he thinks its apolitical party from nyanza that has to be dismised with contept.you can not negotiate with a hypocrite neither can asheep negotiate for freedom with an hyena,it makes no sense.the hyena has entered migingo, residents are wailing but the ministers are asking the poor people to wait awhile. as they negotiate how?hyena will have invited fellow comrades on somalia border for a kill and entice the oromo brothers of the infamouse ogaden together with the thirsty arabic sudan to cross over for a delicious meal called kenya.the oter hyenas from karamajong are currently sleeping but the noise may wake them up for a kill.our seniour shephard mr emilio may not be surprised yet .can the so called pricipal prefect the right warior mr agwambo do something?or the hyenes from gichugu who was baptised just before easter and saw the light in reforms she persecuted and castrated when she was given the power to reform.she thought it was a jaluo affair and they were upto removing the goat meat from the andu ha nyumba in this case emilio and the first eleven with her inthe goalpost.do something hyenes of gichugu may be this will endear you to the fun loving kamongos from migingoland and their cousins in lakeregions/just declare migingo is a kamongo land that belongs to the ramogis of the latter day generation.the likes of sultan balala and sheikh makwere do not understand the politics of andu ha nyumba and the ramogis.this are sworn brothers and whenever they agree they lift the cup.divided no cup.remember 1963 and 2002.this pple need one another only that the a nyumba plays the usual sungura tricks which can only be discoverd late by the ramogis and stones coss over .
have akamongo day and banana day hey.
hey we know that the Island is in Kenya. But lets consider why is it so important to the Kenyans? easy access to fish in Ugandan waters that start exactly at the west bank of the Island. It is okay U can keep the stupid Island we have many more but stay off our waters and lets see who wins or if the stupid island will be of any use to you again. You have not considered why your ministers are unwilling to go full force in argument about it but insist on amicable solution…..they know the truth that when all is said Kenyans will realize that they have been exploiting Uganda’s resources illegally and if they decide to chase Ugandans off we will also ban them from our fishing waters that is why they are all going on about EAC trade and brotherhood. Brotherhood my foot!!!!!!!!!! when all the Kenyans are talking about in response to the conflict is tankers, snipers and whatever it is they imagine is the strongest language to state war.
Keep the stupid Island and stay off our waters then we may see if you will still want it that much. That is why the ministers are insisting on EAC fair trade because they know that while they posses the Islands they do not posses the rich waters near it.
Please do not hate us because we are gifted by nature!!!!!just praise God for us. May be He will bless you too.
WE IN KENYA UNDERSTAND THAT UGANDA IS OUR LITTLE BROTHER AND WE HAVE NO BUSINESS KICKING THEIR YELLOW ASS.AN ELDER DOES NOT BEAT UP CHILDREN OR ENGAGE IN A FIGHT WITH THEM.FIGHTING CHILDREN INVITES RIDICULE UPON THE ELDER.PLEASE KENYANS UNDERSTAND THAT THE BIG FISH IS IN THE GREAT LAKE REGION WHICH YOU ACCESS THROUGH UGANDA.LET THEM HAVE MIGINGO.LOOK BEYOLD,BE FORWARD LOOKING AND THINK BIG.
KENYANS AND UGANDANS STOP FIGHTING, THERE IS NOTHING IN MIGINGO ISLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KENYA FIGHT FOR LAND AND UGANGA FIGHT FOR WATER, DON’T WORRY TANZANIA WILL GIVE YOU LANDS AND WATER WITHOUT FIGHTING!
If Uganda is left to get away with this, they will slowly encroach into our kenya land, and soon it will not only be migingo we are fighting for but other regions too. Mr President, your too silent on this matter.
