NYANZA CLERGY HAILS KIBAKI’S TOUR

BY JEFF OTIENO

Interdenominational church leaders in Nyanza Province have hailed President Mwai Kibaki’s three days tour of Luo Nyanza.

In a press statement, the chairman of the group Bishop Dr. Washington Ogonyo Ngede said the visit will go along way in “spurring development in the region”.

They further appealed to other members of the grand coalition Government to emulate both President Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga in order for the country to achieve faster growth.

“We believe the tour which lasted for three days will go along way in cementing the ties between the Luos and Kikuyus” the statement read. “It’s our humble prayer that all the 42 tribes in Kenya will also borrow a leaf from the President and Prime Minister and work together for the sake of peace and unity of the country”, if further read.

They noted that the country is bigger than an individual or tribal egos and therefore appealed that MPs and ministers should preach peace and unity amongst various ethnic groups to support initiatives of the two principals.

Ngede reiterated that its their prayer for the grand coalition to remain united until 2012 when the country will brace her self to elect a new President without shedding blood as witnessed in the last General Election.

Meanwhile Marie Stopes country Director Cyprian Awiti has appealed to politicians to shun hatred and instead foster unity in order to propel the country to greater heights of growth.

Awiti hailed the two principals consistent moves which he described as “healthy and historic”. He was speaking over the weekend during a funds drive in aid of KenduBay Catholic Church where he helped to raise Kshs.600,000/= with a personal donation of Kshs.100,000/=.

He further urged politicians to seek for God’s intervention in whatever they do.

Nyanza Clergy, please, remind your Hon. guest Mr. Kibaki to follow through by deploying Kenya armed forces to protect your people on Migingo Island. Some of us have written numerous articles on Migingo dispute with Uganda. It is sad but true that those who were saying that Musevini was lying to Mr. Kibaki were right. As soon as Mr. Kibaki declared that ” migingo belonged to Kenya, now Musevinin is moving the “goals post” to Hague to solve this dispute..despite the money the two countries have spent on the survey. In my articles on this subject I never dare to call for force to evict Uganda out of this Island but now I don’t see any other choice but to call for one to claim this Island back. To Kenya fools who says that Migingo is a rock and too small to fight or die for should move to Uganda or Somalia where aggression and lawless rules!. Question for the “CRAZY LUOS ” as labeled by Musevini, when will Kenya government come to your aid to liberate this Island in your region??????. Oh, I forget the government will only send the army/police to cut you down if you dare to protest Migingo take over by Uganda..God help us all!

    RUBISH!

Did the Nyanza church leaders know that Mwai Kibaki, along with Bishop Obadia Kariuki and all the previous and current Kikuyu/Embu/Meru leaders, who are above the age of 45 years drank the Kenyatta NYAMU ANTI-LUO-ANTI NON-GEMA OATHS (human faeses mixed with menses blood) NEVER TO BE IN ANY WAY FRIENDLY WITH the ”wild animals”, according to Kenyatta’s rating? The oaths were taken for a period of 15 years, administered by Jomo Kenyatta personally to the ”elect of god”’, the House of MUMBI community. J.M. Kariuki defied and had his balls cut off and stuffed in his mouth.

I doubt if Mwai Kibaki will ever defy the oath above which even the prelate Obadia Kariuki took in loyalty to the House of MUMBI INSTEAD TO THE HOUSE OF GOD. If he could, he would have responded positively while he was touring Nyanza, to Riaga Ogalo’s pleas that he also declares ”Raila Tosha” come 2012 presidential elections. HE DID NOT!!

It is ungodly for the non-GEMA communities to be naive when it comes to GEMA SCHEMINGS. Kibaki’s tour of Nyanza was meant if anything to destroy Raila Amolo Odinga and not to build him. Open your eyes innocent friends! Your hands are not dripping with blood like theirs.

If what president Kibaki said on his tour of Nyanza to all to hear that(MIGINGO BELONGS TO KENYA),this matter could have ended a long time ago.But becouse of partisan politics which he had got himself sucked into, the president ok Kenya left his PM to embarass himself and shout all over that Uganda should leave Migingo.
He could not say this all along so that he does not appear to be supporting WAJALUOS.The story going round was that this was a LUO matter so let Museveni teach them a lesson. This was in the blind reasoning that Luos are not part and parcel of the Kenyan tribes.
Now since the president shouted himself publicly about the issue, let him go the extra mile and chase thase Ugandans occupyig the island immidiately.

T.M, you are absolutely right!. Here are the questions Kenya press/ citizens should ask Mr. Kibaki: ( Mr. President Sir, Musevini is not honoring joint survey of Migingo Island as the two countries had agreed previously..how do you plan to get this Island back if solving this dispute diplomatically ?..follow up question, ..Mr. President Sir. how do you plan to protect Kenya citizens on this Island from Uganda occupation force and WHEN will this plan take effect?. Lastly, when was the last time you talk to Musevini on this issue..what did you two discussed… if you care to share with public?, Which part of Kenya territory as you know it is NOT worth protecting in this country?????
