Hello,
I was watching the meeting of the committee of experts on citizen TV
and they showed really heart breaking images from the post election
violence.
There was this man who was removed from a matatu and killed in
naivasha by a mob. I was watching this and my heart broke into many
pieces and at the same time i became extremely angry.
I could clearly see the people who were killing him why havent the
police done anything about catching killers from the violence?? From
all that was captured by our very brave men and women couldnt they
atleast identify these many individuals. SHAME ON THE POLICE, THE
POLICE COMMISSIONERS AND THE WHOLE JUSTICE MINISTRY.
Does anyone is this forum know the name of the man i am talking
about?? I am mourning for him as if he were my brother.
Is anyone feeling me on this one. Have kenyans really regreted and
condemned what happened in 2007 enough?!!
We need to name all those died and mourn for them as if they were our own.

Victoria,
Its true that caption is usually showed and especially during the heat of the PEV period. As you have noted, its very easy to pick the culprits using those photos from our TV stations. The police as usual do
not like investigating scenes where money or financial inducements are not in sight.
The scene is disgusting so are the perpetrators of the crime, and the fellows are there alive and kicking.Am sure the disgust extends all the way to the passengers who were travelling with this man and not to mention the children who did not know what that was all about.
Its good to know wether there are relatives out there for the poor soul and how they are coping with the situation. The issue of eradicating impunity should start with the killers we can see on TV and newspapers as we wait for the financiers to own up.

UNIFORMED POLICE AT NAIVASHA THE DAY OF THE MASSACRE
I am appealing to Aljazera in the name of humanity to do the following honourable things:
1. Boom repeatedly on a daily basis for local and international consumption the film that depicted Kenya Police behaviour, eg throwing teargas at deserted walls of a Naivsaha estate as the others escorted the criminal killers into freedom as the latter shouted at them that ”We know you have been instructed from above not to shoot bus!”
2. The film that confirms the indifference of the GEMA-police stood watch over the murderers who butchered, cut to pieces and burnt into cinders innocent Luos and other non-Gema communities in revenge for the killings of their own, the Kikuyus, by the Kalenjins. Let the world see the GEMA/PNU logic with regards to the new definition of revenge.
3. Hand over this cruel historical film to The Hague.
