New pay hike for MPs

This is unbelievable!! At the most critical moment when we need each and every penny utilized in the most beneficial way, these folks are awarding themselves a substantial pay hike at the expense of the majority poor.

How in the world, can they EVEN think of raising their already huge wages and allowances when 90+% of the Kenyan people are wallowing in uncontrolled poverty? This can not be nothing less than greed and selfishness.

Is it a way of greasing their palms so that they zip up their mouths and never question who authorized Pron. Njuguna (CBK-Dir) to write off Ksh. 1.5 Billion stolen by Br. Paulo Patin’s Golednburg scamming company, even before cases pending in court have been expunged? If he took powers into his own hands, then this man needs to be fired and sent to jail. That is depriving wananchi’s basic needs and rewarding an int’l criminal. 1.5 B shillings is not a chap change in a small third world country like Kenya. It can put a huge dent
in our BS.

Kenya’s BS was in the red when Br. Paulo conned us of these Billions of cash. The government barely made it through. Sectors like healthcare, Education, Public service infrastructure, security, agriculture etc were all affected beyond repair. Most government services eg water, phones and light bills were suspended due to nonpayment of bills by the government and the worst case of them all was the parking of three patients per bed in government hospitals, while Patin was sleeping in a golden kingsize bed.

These folks tend to forget so fast, don’t they?
