In Pakistan, the PM has been sworn in

The procrastination by HE Mwai Kibaki is ill advised.

He is playing politics with the life of Kenyans, some of whom are still holed up in the IDP camps. Some of whom are still grieving the deaths of their beloved.

The law that was making it difficult for him to share power has since been passed by parliament, and the post of the PM is now by law established. What then makes it difficult to name Raila Odinga as the Prime Minister, have him sworn in at Uhuru Park, and let Kenyans move on into the difficult job ahead?

In Pakistan where we had a similarly unpopular leader, Musharaf has had the PM sworn in with speed despite their being sworn enemies. To them, Pakistan is more important than political games.

And in this, Musharaf has scored despite his being a dictator.

HE Mwai Kibaki must be a wise man. If he is, he must name the PM officially by tomorrow and have this thing done away with. Otherwise, he will be behaving like the proverbial warthog, who easily forgets.

We do not want to revisit the events of the post election period. We saw enough of our brothers and sisters butchered, and we have enough people displaced either from their homes, or from their residential areas.

If this is what the president and his PNU colleagues want, then they better hive off Central Province and close it to all other Kenyans, and we shall forever live in peace as neighbouring states.

Odhiambo u r very tribalistic if not regionalist, I hate anyone who mentions central province, why don’t u mention Kikuyus outright, we r ready for whatever other tribes r planning to do and have no apologies to make; we shall work with whoever want to work with us and to fight back both in words and economically if pushed. We must not consume your stuff if u feel like alienating us.Raila is not like u, he is a national leader who does not deserve being associated with u a likes; may be u share Nyongo’s blood. To hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
