Re: When visiting

Life in these United States is very hectic indeed. This is what’s happening out there:

1. To make ends meet, many have two to three jobs or go for doubles if no triples
2. Then there are children with all kinds of needs
3. Add school and all that comes with it
4. As if that is not enough, add church and the many community activities.

Because of the above and many other reasons,

1.People sleep at different times
2.People eat at different times
3.People adjust their schedules so as to make ends meet

In view of the above, when visiting, please note the following:

1.Avoid asking too many questions, such as how come so and so is still in bed.
2.Avoid disturbing someone who is trying to catch up some sleep
3.Make a quick decision and exit as soon as possible.
4.Remember that whoever you are visiting might be planning to leave for work
5.Watch for the signs of people in hurry.
6.If your host is too busy, avoid the temptation of long speeches/prayers
Shall we?

Just a thought
