Under the aegis Inter Parties Youth Forum (IPYF), the lobby group main set goal is to push for the full implementation of the constitution to the letter, after promulgation.

And also to ensure national unity, peace, justice and prosperity- as it is enshrined in the spirit of national anthem- is observed through out the process.

Speaking to a legion of journalists in the sidelines of EL SAVANNA hotel in kisumu city whereby youth representatives from all the would-be counties assembled, the kisumu county convener Mr. Noah Joseph Olwero disclosed that IPYF is scheduled for official launch at the historic uhuru park on 7th of September, this year.

And that over 1000 participants drawn from all political parties, nationally, are expected to attend the occasion to be graced by various political party bigwigs who have confirmed their attendance.

Olwero who is a long term political ally to Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and renowned for his mobilization skills, added that the IPYF is not only aimed at uniting youths but also to bridge the deeply entrenched ethnic hatred among youths ahead of 2012 elections:

“We don’t want a repeat of post election skirmishes that saw the youths who were divided on tribal line being used to cause chaos……this the right time to avert it” he focused.

Olwero signed off by urging the kalenjin and kikuyu youths in the expansive rift valley province to advocate for peace and unity in the re-born Kenya and not to be divided by the perceived political alliance pitying Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his deputy, Uhuru Kenyatta.
