NORTH RIFT KENYA IS HIT THE HARDEST AS FAMINE BITES DEEP INTO KENYAN REGIONS FORCING CLANSMEN IN BARINGO TO EAT WILD FRUITS

By Leo Odera Omolo

MORE than 45,000 people living in Silale and Kositei villages in the newly created Baringo East district are staring to death by starvation as persistent lack of rainfall continues to hit the area.

Reports emerging from the area says that many families have been surviving on wild fruits which are also hard to find. Children, elderly people and women are the most affected.

A resident of Kabarnet told this writer that the situation is so pathetic with unconfirmed reports of several casualities.. Children, elderly people and women are the most effected.

A recent KTN shocked Kenyans when men, women and children were seen by vieweres in wild chase of rats and mouse in the thick bushes fort their meal, signifying the high degree of hunger facing the communities in the region.

Fears persist that many parts of Kenya would soon follow suit, though the government recently announced that it was importing 3 million bags of maize from a foreign source. The Minister for Agriculture William Ruto had assured the nation that there was nothing to worry.

In some regions of Kenya, especially the tradition maize growing areas had experienced total crop failure owing to the scarcity of rain Maize is the staple. Food for the majority of Kenyan communities. .Its market price has gone up by nearly 80 per cent. In some place 2kg of either maize of maize flour is costing close to Kshs 100/- which is unaffordable to many poor rural families.

Regions like Trans-Nzoia, Trans-Mara, Uasin Gishu, Bungoma Molo, Migori, Kuria, Nandi, Kericho had experienced crops failure due to the unpredictability of the weather. The post-election chaos early this has largely contributed to the on going state of famine in the country. In some places, tribal skirmishes had forced maize farmers out of their farms. They fled while abandoning th1114eir ripe maize in the field, which was eventual harvested by thugs and goons..

Still reeling from the aftermath of post election violence, residents of the agriculturally rich in the North Rift had high expectation on this year’s budget, which was read in parliament by the Finance Minister Amos Kimunya last week. To save them from the sky rocketing food prices.

.Trans-Nzoia and Uasin Gishu districts are the bread basket of Kenya, But there is hardly enough grain for sale to the famine stricken members of the public.

Even worse still ,post election violence in January and February had led to more families
Going hungry because no meaningful farming activities took place during the political upheaval.

In Burn Forest areas within the Uasin Gishu district, looting, arson wholesale destruction of plantations rendered the economic life virtually desfunctional.

Kenyan farmers were also expecting some money to be allocated towards buying their farm produce when they harvest later this year. Measures to cushion them from drought should also be tailored into finance Minister Kimunya’s budget last week{2008/2009}. Kenyan farmers are anxious lots. They have many problems and they have been waiting for the government to provide the solution in this year’s budget.. But according to the agriculture minister Ruto very little was given to the Ministry

Following the post election chaos early this, farmers, particularly those living in the maize producing regions in the North Rift were expecting this year’s budget to subsidise when they harvest later in the year..

“The subsidies should have come during the planting season of the main staple food,,but we still needs them to plant the short-term crops,” said one farmer in Eldoret Town. Mr.John Cheruiyot of Sergoi said that the production of maize and wheat would suffer this year as most farmers were unable to afford fertilizers whose prices skyrocketed from Kshs.1.650/- to kshs 4,000/ for a bag of 50 kg.

A recent survey conduced in Baringo East revealed a grave situation one of human being competing for wild fruits with domestic animals, especially goats and donkeys.

At a village called Kositei in Chemelinget Division, school chidren have been forced to forfeit their studies and abandoned learning in schools as they accompany their parents to the hilltop and forests to look for wildfruits traditionally known as “Sirichon” in the bushes.

This fruit is pounded before being boiled in three different stages to remove the bitter taste and to make it soft. The boiling takes at least 24 hours 24 if the fruits were still fresh, but sometime boiled for two days when they have to dry up.

According to the locals, food especially the common ugali {kimiet}.that is favoritemin almost every household in the country is now increasingly becoming a rare commodity and a rare thing as some residents said they last tested the precious meal some six months ago, and have only been surviving on wild fruits.,

One 75 year old resident0 and a widow reported that her husband has succumbed to death three weeks ago as his thin body could not survive for another day after going without food for more than two weeks. The incident could not be confirmed immediately
The widow Mrs Chebeteltes Lochab a mother of eight said her own chances of survival and also 0slim because she cannot climb up the trees for harvesting the wild fruit due to her age coupled a broken arm

Suffering of many people in Baringo East is evidenced as emaciated children emerged from one of the hats. Locals are really staring at starvation in the face.

One civic leade Coiun Daniel Tumsis said the problem is getting worse day by6day and several people have died in Kositei Ward.”We have a record of seven people in the bushes because The are so weak that their relatives have abandoned them behind as families scampered for the wild in search of the now scarce fruits.

The civic leader said several attempt to get any assistance in the from of relief food from the government have been 00fruitless as they only give empty promises..He alleged that the government has neglected them and wondered who turn to next.

A recent visit to Chemelinget shopping centre which has the new district headquarters ,essential commodities were very expensive as unscrupulous traders take the advantage of the worsening situation. A kilo of maize flour goes for 100shillings a fact that only a few families can manage to raise.

Many families in the area have been forced to flee their homes and migrate and were seen settling along Kotidoe River, the only available water resource in the area.”We were tired of trekking for a long distances looking for water” said Chepurai Longolesia, adding that we came to live near the river because we use a lot of water in cooking wild fruits. We use to walk for more than 20 kilometres to fetch water.”.

The civic leaders reported that it has been very difficult for the villagers as livestock auction they depended were close due to quarantine in the area following the outbreak of peste petit rumantes disease three months ago.

One person alleged that th4e last time they saw an Assistant minister and the MP for the area Osman Kamama was when he was serving as the Minister for Public service shortly before he was relegated to an Assistant minister position in the Ministry of education in the grand coalition government.

In the neighbouring baringo north district the situation is the same and sop is in west Pokot. The acute shortage of food has also spread into Turukana district, and in other districts in Wstern, and Nyanza provinces where close to 100,000 people are facing hunger.

Re: A visit of the major cities by the Lord of the Universe!

Whether you read the Bible or not, you are a christian or not, or you believe in the soon return of Our God or not,the daily happenings world wide have no doubt left you asking hard questions.

By the look of things, it feels like that time in Israel when as the Bible states, ” there was no King and everybody did that which was right in their own eyes.” What’s different in out time and age is that the world has very capable leaders and yet everyone seems to have a right in doing anything.

This afternoon I found myself wondering loud and clear “What if the Lord of the universe decided to come down and visit the major cities?” What will He see/find?

Perhaps we should ask Moses what happened when He visited Sodom & Gomorrah. Here is how the Bible describes God’s intent:

And the Lord said,Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin very grievous;I will go down now,and see whether they have done according to the cry of it,which is come unto me;and if not,I will know. Genesis 18:20-21

And what did the Lord find?

1. cities gone wild in sin
2. Some of the inhabitants even wanted to molest the angels
3.Cities that did no recognize the presence of God’s messengers

And what was the end result?

Total destruction that sadly included Lot’s wife.

Are the major cities different today than the time of Sodom and Gomorrah? Far from it! We are daily witnessing thing that have taken even the devil by surprise.

Question is,if He visited your city today, will He find you ready!

Re:The story of the prodigal son!

The prodigal son was doing far much better at his father’s home than he knew. The father loved him as one of his children and did everything possible to protect and provide for his daily needs.

Un-happy with things at home as he perceived them,he decided to leave, but not until he had been given that which he deemed as his. Contrary to what he had expected, all left him and for once found himself without anything or anybody. It was after challenges brought him to his senses that he took note that after all things were better at home.

Despite all he had done, the father was not only willing to accept him but treated him as if he had not messed up!

Like the prodigal son, there are some of us who for reasons best known to us, we packed long time ago and took leave from all to do with our God:
1.We stopped to read the Bible and/or spiritual books
2.We stopped to go to church
3.We stopped to pray
4.We stopped to associate ourselves with our fellow brothers and sisters
5.We stopped returning our tithes and giving our offerings
6.We started eating, drinking or smoking that which affects our reasoning

Having been out there for sometime now, I think we realize too well that there is one-the evil one who is also interested in us-but for what purpose? To destroy us and if possible, kill us!

Dear friends, like the prodigal son,its about time we return home. You and I need to return the way we are. The father will surely accept us and help us to become that which He wants His children to become. Are you willing to return?

Just wondering!

Blessings to each one.

MEN WITH HANDS DRIPPING BLOOD]

After the sudden and very depressing deaths of the Hon. Kipkalya Kones and the Hon. Lorna Loboso, I’ve found myself reflecting on the trail of death that has stalked Kenya since independence. The sad thing about these deaths is that they are never resolved, which only encourages the men who plot the murder of others to think they can always get away with the next murder. Is it any wonder they are now talking about bringing the curtain down on these murders? Does that mean killers will go free?

Just so we are clear, Kenyans are not dumb. Whenever a high profile murder is committed, we always know who’s done it. With fairly accurate fingers, we can point at the man responsible for the murder of another. So for the sake of history, let’s point those fingers.

J.M. Kariuki

This was one of the most flamboyant politicians the House of Mumbi ever gave us. He was known to have had an independent mind. He spoke as a Kenyan and shunned the politics of tribe. Indeed, it’s because of his independent streak, and his ability to see all Kenyans as one people, that the administration of President Kenyatta had a problem with him. So in the mid-seventies, he was killed by men in that government. Since Kenyatta is dead, and Kanyotu just died, there is only one man who can tell us with certainty who killed JM. The man is Dr. Njoroge Mungai. Can he tell us the truth, or does he plan to die with it like Kenyatta and Kanyotu?

Tom Mboya

Mboya was a brilliant young man. The history books and the historians I’ve consulted say that he became a key rival of the late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, and allowed himself to be played against Jaramogi by the Mt Kenya elite. It was because of him that Kenya Peoples Union came into existence…after he came up with the regional vice presidency scheme. The rest is history, as they say. What I want to point out is that once the Mt. Kenya elite accomplished their mission to silence Oginga Odinga, they killed Tom. The man who pulled the trigger gave us the name of the man who sent him. The sender was Jomo Kenyatta. So who killed Tom? Again, if the nation wants the truth behind this murder, ask Dr. Njoroge Mungai.

Dr. Robert Ouko

Because this death took place when people my age were relatively grown up, it marked the first time we witnessed the messy nature of politics. It opened our eyes to the fact that there were greedy and dangerous men in our midst, people who could kill any of us with impunity. But what became even more shocking than the murder was that the people who killed Bob are still walking free. If you buy the bull that it has not been proven Nicholas Biwott and Daniel Arap Moi did it, dream on. What I know is that many people lost their lives because they knew or witnessed an aspect of Bob’s murder. But there are three people still alive who were principals in the sordid scheme. These were characters who were directly responsible for eliminating Bob. I’ve given you the names of Moi and Biwott. The third name is Marianne Briner. This woman has always presented herself as one who was a victim of the evils of the Moi administration. What I know today, this very moment, is that had Marianne Briner not passed on to Biwott and Moi the private conversations she had with the man, and had she not overly hyped them, Bob would be alive today.

Horace Ongili Owiti

Horace Ongili is said to have been a rising politician in Kenya. By the time he was brutally murdered and his body discarded in a maize plantation, it was rumored that he was set to be named vice president. At that time, the seat was occupied by an Othaya MP called Mwai Kibaki. In swaths of Luo land, it was believed that Mwai Kibaki used the late Ambala to kill Horace. Since the Othaya MP is still alive, why can’t one courageous journalist ask him about his role in this death? And while at it, can he also tell us what he knows about the murder of Dr. Crispin Odhiambo Mbai? Can you, Mr. President?

Bishop Alexander Kipsang Arap Muge

This man of God was one of the most influential church people in Kenya. I had the privilege of meeting him in Eldoret just weeks before his murder. I was struck by how soft-spoken he was. It was difficult for me to see in the painfully soft-voice prelate the fearsome character the press had turned him out to be. In any case, because of his pronouncements, he was killed. There are those who thought Peter Habenga Hokondo was the killer. That’s absurd. The killer was a man I’ve called in my novels Nick Boit.

Ladies and gentlemen, those were the big five. But others have died too. Here are their names:

Pio Gama Pinto

He was a rising politician of Indian descent. Does anybody know who killed Pio?

CMG Argwings Kodhek

Those who were born a number of years after independence know very little about Argwings. What I know for sure is that he was killed. I challenge whoever knows the story behind this murder to lay it out for us. Look, there’s some crap they’ve written about Argwings in Google and Wikipedia, what we need here today is the inside story. Who killed Agwenge?

Masinde Muliro, Hezekiah Oyugi, Dorothy Randiek, Shikuku, A Nakuru Nurse

These people were killed by the same men who killed Dr. Robert ouko.

Melitus Were and Kimutai Too

If you want to know who killed these young men, ask Police Chief, General Ali.

Finally, we have Kones and Lorna. Were they killed? Like the rest of the above murders, these ones will not be solved. We have one of the best police forces in the world and yet when it comes to these political murders, they behave like a bunch idiots. Giggling sissies. Will there come a time when they can follow the trail of the murders and tell the nation this:

Fellow Kenyans, you gave us the task to find out who killed_______. After a thorough investigation, we can now report that though Mr. so and so pulled the trigger, he acted on behalf of the Hon______.

Will that day ever come? Because when it does, the murders may finally end.

For Love of Country.

Raila to meet key US officials

Prime Minister Raila Odinga is set to meet US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice http://www.nationmedia.com/dailynation/nmgcontententry.asp?category_id=2&newsid=125503#
in Washington to brief the top diplomat on the success of the Grand Coalition, aides have said.

*Prime Minister Raila Odinga meets grand-daughter Saphie at Heathrow Airport in London. The Prime Minister was on his way to an official visit in Washington DC.* Photo/PMPS.

The PM, who is on a three-day visit, is also scheduled to meet top Congressional figures, World Bank officials and the business community.

The last time Mr Odinga met Ms Rice was in February in Nairobi when the country was in the throes of violence that erupted following disputed presidential election results. Senator Barack Obama, however is not on the list of dignitaries Mr Odinga is scheduled to meet.

*First time*

Peter Ogego, Kenya’s ambassador to the United States, told the *Nation* that an Odinga-Obama meeting is “not on the programme” of official talks that get underway today (Tuesday).

“The visit is very important in that this is the first time a senior official of the Kenyan Government is coming to the US after the formation of the Grand Coalition,” Mr Ogego said.

Mr Odinga will tell US officials that “Kenya is back on course and the coalition is working,” the ambassador added.

Mr Odinga’s visit will focus on efforts to promote US investment http://www.nationmedia.com/dailynation/nmgcontententry.asp?category_id=2&newsid=125503#
in Kenya and to win additional assistance for the country.

Americans will be told that it is again safe to visit Kenya, Mr Ogego said.  As a key indicator of a return to normalcy, the US Peace Corps is expected to announce during the visit that its volunteers will soon return to Kenya.

Mr Odinga’s round of confirmed appearances begins this morning with a talk at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think-tank.

He is then scheduled to attend a luncheon co-hosted by the Kenya embassy and by the Corporate Council on Africa http://www.nationmedia.com/dailynation/nmgcontententry.asp?category_id=2&newsid=125503#
, which includes most of the US corporations that do business on the continent.

Mr Ogego said the Prime Minister will have  a busy schedule which will culminate in the signing of two key agreements.

These are the Kenya/US Open Skies agreement which will be signed on Wednesday and the Kenya/US Peace Corps agreement to be signed on Thursday.

The open skies agreement will involve Kenyan airlines being granted category “A” status by US aviation authorities which will allow Kenyan planes to land in the United States and vice versa.

Ambassador Ogego said that this agreement will allow Kenya to easier sell its trade http://www.nationmedia.com/dailynation/nmgcontententry.asp?category_id=2&newsid=125503# , tourism, horticulture and agriculture sectors. The Prime Minister will also meet and address Kenyans in the diaspora.

Just before leaving Nairobi, Mr Odinga said constitutional review commissioners will soon be appointed to help finalise the process within one year.

He dismissed fears that because funds http://www.nationmedia.com/dailynation/nmgcontententry.asp?category_id=2&newsid=125503#were not allocated in this year’s budget presented by Finance Minister Amos Kimunya last week, the constitutional review process may come to a halt.

“There is nothing fishy about funds not being allocated in the budget. There is money and in case it is inadequate, a supplementary budget motion will be moved for more funds,” he said moments before boarding the plane on Sunday night.

Small tribes & Politics

Mainstream politics does not cater for small tribes

Last year’s elections were an ethnic census for ODM and PNU. Mainly driven by the Kikuyu and Luo political and business elite, the high-stakes political contest drew in Rift Valley Province politicians, making the General Election the most horrendous Kenya has ever seen.

The formation of the Grand Coalition Government may have brought stability, but it only reschedules the political crisis to 2012 or earlier.

Last Word On Sunday – Is Raila a Turncoat Revolutionary?

The Nation (Nairobi)

The tragedy of the last election is not that we killed – this is how nations are made. The tragedy is that we continue to miss the point.

Let me begin with the question of amnesty. The person who needs “amnesty” the most is President Kibaki because, under his leadership, our peaceful country was pushed to the brink of a civil war.

Yes he can do it, only if he Delegates and incorporates TEAM WORK from his ODM members, EVENTUALLY IT WILL FIZZLE DOWN TO THE REST Kenyans.  Someone has to lead.  Raila is capable of doing that and I believe he can deliver. He is human like everyone, he tire and wear out.  But a soldier rejuvenates and moves on.  Kenya is too big for his two hands alone, he need Leutenants to complete his assigned God Given Job of saving Kenya.  GEMA will not be a stambling block very soon.  They will join the team singing the same song like everybody else – under the atmosphere of JUSTICE, SECURITY and DEMORACTIC GOVERNANCE.  When funds are evenly distributed, it will fizzle down to the poor and poverty will be in control.

In reference of “being the Moses”, techniques must change, Logistics and Methodology can never be the same because of changed competitive environmental scenarios and the IT Net age making the World a Small Village – where in this case, Kenya and African can never be left behind.  Africa and Kenya therefore have to step to meet challenges of the world in all aspects of ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, JUSTICE AND DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION and so to foster their SOCIAL AMENITIES and ENDEAVOURS – in which case, they have to catch up with the world – no one should should be left behind, poverty has to be rooted on the face of Africa.

Orengo’s Land prescription is commendable, a pain dose to the rich BUT healing process to the poor and the landless.  Kenya cannot grow with such a big gap difference between the rich and the poor with no middle class – especially with constant theft from public coufers, and mistrust from leaders, thuggery, intimidation and insecurity all around the nation.  There must be an enabling environment to nurture peace and stability for the sake of Development in all sectors as well as enjoying virtues of conducive social interaction by the 42 tribes of Kenya as before.  This will bring lasting stability, harmony and competitiveness of Kenya on the face of the world.

It must be a reality check for those who think they will continue to rule by way of instilling threats and fears to the public and by way of using gun and assassinations to gain control of their dubious ways.  It is not the will of God and they will not succeed.

Amen,

Re: Heaven without you!

Whether we like it or not,one day, some day, this world will come to an end. As the good book tells us,the Saved ones will live with the father for ever.

Today,I found myself reflecting on what heaven will be like. In this world,we have formed the following relationships:

1.Child/parents
2.Sibling/siblings
3.Child/uncles/aunties
4.Student/teacher
5.Employee/employer
6.Friends we have made over the years
7.Wonderful neighbors
8.Pastor/church members
9.Helpful colleagues
10.School mates that we have known for years

I don’t know about you, but these relationships means so much to me! I not only love all the above, but want to spend eternity with them!

Now think about this! What will heaven be like without any, or all of the above! Very miserable place indeed!

What makes me happ,y is the fact that the door of probation is still open and that the good Lord is willing not only to forgive but also to have our names recorded in the book of life! So where do we go from here?

1.Let us pray for ourselves so as not to be a stumbling block to anyone.
2.Let us repent of all known sins and pray for the power that comes from above to enable us live victorious lives.
3.Let us pray for those we love
4.Let us remind others of the need to be there! Shall we?

Just a thought

Matthew 25:35-40

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?

The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”

Thank you so much for your input.

Re: The’WHY’and ‘HOW’question of Africa’s independence (Must Read)

One beautiful thing so fascinating about the African is his ability to cope with danger and threatening social situations, his use of freedom of speech at the slightest opportunity and the strength to bear even excruciating hardship in the midst of plenty with one visible attribute among a hundred – complain and argue.   With less room for doubting freaks, historians have dug up quite some facts on many premises; the Africans constitute the stoics of age with a natural ability and courage to fight back, the Africans constitute the bravest, the most skilled, the wealthiest, the most talented, the most advanced with a ‘wow-wow’ rating at the slightest disclosure of any archives of past events and records that has shaped world histories.
. . .

Business is all about stocks and profits. We do hold periodic meetings to ascertain how well our business have fared. Are we making profits or losing? Are we progressing or snailing behind? If we are making profits, what are the signs of the profits then if we are not making profits, what’s responsible for our failures? Who is responsible for our incompetence?
A young man from my neighbourhood once had an election slot bought for him by godfathers as council chairman for Aba North Local Government, He virtually cleaned up the treasury, held up worker’s salary for close to 9 months and finally rounded off his tenure with enough stolen monies he deprived his own people from. Not even a street was paved for all the 4 years term of office despite the huge financial allocations.
Now, how do we stop people like this from taking advantage of their own? This is the ‘HOW’ question. There are over a thousand of his likes walking tall across the streets of Africa as VIP’s with government security, taking advantage of the helplessness of their own without the slightest remorse and responsibility. How do we stop them from continually bringing Africa down and disrepute with their brazen stupidity and ignorance before their network reproduces another generation of victims?
Very simple; Something I will consider an idiot’s guide approach; Ignore the fool, snub him, boycott him anywhere overseas and at home, avoid him like a plague, let him live in his own world of illusion and ignorance. This old walking-stick granny in my neighboured bluntly told the son, a VIP in government quarters, a notorious fraudster with a team of escort cars and boys following; “I don’t need your dime, son, when I die, I don’t need a penny of your ill-gotten riches into my grave, you’re such a disgrace to family values!”

Kenya’s 2008/9 budget: the devil in the details!

Dear All,

The following are my comments on the proposed Kimunya’s budget:

Social Exclusion and Inequality

Further, issues of social exclusion and inequalities were key issues that required to be addressed. Majority of Kenyans are not participants in the socio-economic and political development of Kenya. The 08/09 budget is pegged on Kenya’s Vision 2030. The process of midwifing the vision to reality is dependent on present leadership. But the current leadership does not have the political will and commitment necessary. The loud call in our country is “we want social balance now!”  For example, Joseph Rewe, former President Moi’s driver who earns a paltry pension of K.Shs. 2000/= while his former boss earns K.Shs. 2000000/= pm…

Re: What A Shame? ; Re: Kones’ plane

GUYS,

Excessive POWER invested in Kenyan PRESIDENT is TOO MUCH. The last 4 presidents ( Kenyatta, Moi, Kibaki and Kibaki tena ODM/PNU complex) we have had made our LIVES so CHEAP and OUR BELIEF to be just impossible. OUR Kenyan justice system and the institutions which should carry or do investigations in anything bad like this helicopter event are not trusted. We do not have any trust in any investigation done by this present system we do have in Kenya. Even if they are telling us the truth nobody is going to believe them. They the leaders have made themselves so cheap in truth that nobody is now ready to buy from them the truth, even if they are selling it so cheaply or giving it without charging. We all know that among all types of transportation on earth today flying is the safest. Helicopter can drop down due to bad weather, or mechanical failure, or sabotage by engineers, or lack of fuel, inexperienced pilot, bad navigation system, old cheap technology etc. BUT the problem is this, WHY should an Helicopter carrying a minister should fly on bad weather?, or what the HELL are our weather control unit doing in the country if they CAN NOT advice VIPs  on when it is SAFE to FLY?. We Africans take life very cheaply, I just do not know where we are heading to?. Remember the ECK chairman and all his brigades are still working in Kenya today and getting salary as usual despite that we buried over 1500 innocent people and over 500 000 IDP displaced after 27th. Dec. 2007 election. How many among these people lost even documents they will never get back?. Alot of Kenyans also still keep their money at home not in banks, so how much did these IDPs lose in terms of wealth alone?. Who is responsible for that?. Have we been told the real TRUTH?. NO, all what we were told is ODM/PNU marriage. Who will believe them this time when they tell us the cause of this helicopter`s fate?. Me or you ? NO WAY.

Bye fellow Foxes: Paul Nyandoto.

It has now been confirmed from a highly placed intelligence source, that the ill-fated plane which crushed killing Hon. Kones and Laboso was intentionally brought down by an assasin’s bullet and had no prior mechanical problem. It’s believed that Hon. Ruto was the target as he was expected to be one of the passangers on board. Fortunatelly, Hon. Ruto was summoned to State House moments before he could board the plane. The plane was shot three times from the ground thus critically disaballing it. The plane crushed at 1421 GMT hours and was not reported as missing until after 1700 hrs, how and why a three hour discripense? By the time the news went to the press, the so called Mt. Kenya howks who are densily populated in the Naireg-Enkare area had rainsacked the deceased, taken all their belongings and lots of liquide cash they had in their possetion. How can a plane carrying cabinet ministers go missing for three good hours without an alarm being raised?  Flushback, remember when “they” killed our two ODM MPs they bragged that “two down and two more to go”. I wonder whether these are the only men born to rule and govern Kenya. Why so much animosity? Kenya is for Kenyans and not owned by members of a particular ethnic group. With the resent political developments in Kenya including those of purposely humiliating the PM’s security entourage in public not forgetting the presence of the int’l community, I don’t foresee the union between PNU and ODM lasting for the next five years. PNU sucks!! They don’t like the idea of power sharing, period. These folks should know that days of akina Isaac Njenga Njoroge are gone. This is Kenya in the 21st Century and NOT in the 19th Century. Viva ODM!!!!!
Today is the Lord’s day and with these few remarks I beg to move.
Take care and stay tuned
Tebiti Ogutu Isaboke.

My heart and feelings goes to the families of the late Hon. Kones and Laboso, the security officer and the pilot at this time of the most trying moment. Let it be known that we haven’t forgotten about you and we will keep you in our daily prayers. My the good Lord in heaven rest their souls in eternal peace and save them a place in His Kingdom on the day of judgement, Amen

Folks,

This sucks.

I am sick to my stomach.

People, both local and international, people of the world, this sort of crime against humanity must not be left to play turns amidst peaceful Kenyans.  Citizens of Kenyan today, urgently needs a SAVIOUR. No more waits, it is now. There are lots of other things taking turns, the poor will eventually die from poverty, those fighting for Democracy, Justice and The Rule of Law will find their bodies rotting in the shrubs or pilled in morgues.  At this rate there is no future for Kenyans.  The Gema Mafia went back to drawing boards to make sure their project succeeds.  Moi as the chieftain financier continues to backroll the GEMA project “The Uhuru Kenyatta”,  Raila seems tammed even to a point his own security is compromised – his active shared ODM Ministries like Immigration and Ministry of Lands has been trampled on and reduced to fake disfunctional non-effective by Kibaki’s overrulling their operationals from his arrogant  (Kibakis) public statements.  This has open doors to dissaster.  The GEMA TOOK OATH and in their excercise drunk human blood.  They do not respect humanity, but themselves and their GLUTTONNESS. Nothing will change their focused mentality BUT A FIRM IRON FIST of PEOPLE OF THE WORLD to step in and save this sorry state of affair.  Raila too cannot accomplish this mighty responsibility without delegating powers and involving professional teamwork from his ODM party Officials and Members.  Being a lone ranger will worsen thing.  He must consult widely amongst his ODM and accross Nations, if he stands to deliver to Kenyans the eargerly much needed AMENDED CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM BILL.  There is no more riddles or short-cuts to removing GEMA and GEMA PRINCIPLES.  ODM machinery must be seen to be  working, not being idle. They were the HOPE of KENYAN PEOPLE.  If the leadership is wounded, there is concern for  elevating new leadership to pilot the plane.

This is sad.

Re: Carrying a conversation!

There are people that one enjoys carrying conversation with; people who contribute to a conversation in such a manner that one feels like talking with them all the time.

Unfortunately, there are people who are very annoying. You can find them at:

1.Many homes
2.At places of work
3.At social gatherings
4.At many churches

These kind of individuals turn everybody nuts. Their way of seeing/reasoning out things is very annoying, to say the very least. They talk as if they own the world or better still, they are the only distributors of the air we breathe.

I have often heard people remark,”I will not attend such a meeting if so and so is there.” Not that they hate them, but all they talk don’t make sense at all.

In all that we do, let us allow “this mind that was in Christ Jesus to be in us.”
I am willing to go that route. How about you my friend!
