From: Otieno

As a medical doctor, I am afraid to point out that Hon: Otieno kajung has signs of alcohol cirrhosis. I might be wrong, but I will stand to be proved wrong. It is sad that he might have this quite serious illness, hence I see disaster coming…

 NAIROBI, April 14

– At least 10 suspected Mungiki sect members were gunned down by police across Nairobi, Central and Rift Valley provinces after the illegal group launched a massive pre-dawn protest over the killing of the wife and driver of their founding Chairman.

There were two civilian casualties. One occurred in Thika where a man was shot dead by suspected sect members at 3 am. Central Provincial Police Boss Philip Ndwiga said six people believed to be sect members had been arrested in connection to the killing.

In Makadara a man was hacked to death overnight and his body recovered early Monday morning.

Police began by lobbing tear gas canister to disperse the machete-wielding mob. The riotous group did not budge and officers drew guns.

In Nairobi’s Kariobangi estate two suspects, part of a gang burning cars and setting up illegal roadblocks, were felled by officers.

The scene was replicated Down Town Nairobi where officers shot dead another man believed to be a member of the notorious gang. He was part of a group of youth heading for the Central Business District. They were intercepted on Kirinyaga road by officers.

Eldoret District Criminal Investigations Officer Munga Nyale reported two protestors killed.

Naivasha recorded one death. Another sect member, part of a group blocking the Nairobi-Nakuru road was killed. Officers tried to disperse the crowd, they responded by throwing stones.

Two suspects were killed in both Ruiru and Murang’a.

Transport was paralysed in Nairobi’s Zimmerman, Dagoretti, Kayole, Dandora, Komarock, Dagoretti and Shauri Moyo estates.

Thirty vehicles and a petrol station were set ablaze in Embakasi.

“We don’t know what is happening and surely the government should do something. That’s why we have the police and the intelligence unit,” a businessman in Embakasi said.

Nairobi Provincial Police Chief Njue Njagi said anti-riot officers had been deployed to the affected areas to quell the unrest.

“We are doing everything possible to stop the riots,” he said.

In Nakuru, two vehicles were set ablaze in Bahati by about 200 sect members who barricaded the Nakuru-Nyahururu road.

The rowdy youth also lit bonfires on some streets in the town before they were dispersed by anti riot police.

The sect members also blocked roads in Naivasha town bringing activities in there to a standstill.

The youth are protesting the killing of Maina Njenga’s wife Virginia and her driver last week. They allege the duo was executed by police.

Njenga is in jail serving a five-year term after he was convicted of being in possession of drugs and a firearm illegally.

About two months ago the sect members staged a daring demonstration in Nairobi CBD, the second of its kind, demanding the release of Njenga.

The question that the press must now ask; where is the CID? And why are we paying them a salary?

The other time the same sect members were in town, the police played chase game, just like they played it again today.

If such a big group can organize to paralyze transport in Kenya without the knowledge of the police, then we are on our own.

Dear Mr. Oketch,

Kibaki should set up a ministry for Mungiki Affairs and make Maina Njenga the minister.

Can we now work?

President Mwai Kibaki today named a new cabinet at State House Nairobi. He was accompanied by Hon Raila Odinga, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kenya.

Kenyans must now turn to the delicate task of service delivery.

It is important to note that all those who have been so named as ministers, will serve the Government of Kenya, not their respective parties.

Focus must now turn immediately in solving and addressing the issue of those of our colleagues who were displaced in the internal strife that followed the stolen elections.

I am all the more happy that Hon Mutula Kilonzo has been made the Minister for Citi Hoppa Affairs, and I want to look at how he will resolve the pain those from the east of Nairobi undergo as they are dumped along Jogoo Road every morning as they go to work.

The new government must as a matter of urgency take the reform route, reforms that will ensure we have equitable distribution of services and resources across Kenya.

Besides the issue of IDPs, we want reforms at the Judiciary. This is the one singular institution that has powered all the forces of corruption in Kenya. It must be overhauled, and men who believe in law appointed to run it.

As currently constituted, Judiciary is staffed with people who pay homage to their political god fathers, and not to the law. Respect to the laws of the land must be reinvented. Only then will Kenya be able to fight corruption successfully.

The new government must also as a matter of urgency address the escalating cost of living. Prices of essential commodities have gone way beyond the reach of the common man. Measures must be put in place to mitigate the plight of this group of people.

The cost of farm inputs is also soaring. And the Minister of Agriculture, the Hon Ruto, must come up with measures that will bring succour to the oppressed.

Many Kenyan fishermen have suffered at the hands of Uganda Police for so long. Immediate attention must now be made to address their plight.

Our roads are in tatters, and the new government must as a matter of urgency build the link to Western Kenya. We must not have any more excuses.

Corruption has been a major handicap to the Government of Kenya. Immediate attention must be made to address all issues of past and present cases of corruption. In so doing, we must not play ping pong games chasing after the wind.

We all know who was behind Goldenberg, Anglo Leasing. They must be prosecuted and jailed and reparations made. With a Judiciary in place that pays homage to the law, this is possible.

Nairobi is home to a housing crisis. Immediate measures must be put in place to address the issue of adequate and spacious housing units for Kenyans. The issue of 7 storey housing units that do not comply with the by-laws of Nairobi City Council must be addressed as a matter of urgency.

In short, we must start the work of building Kenya. Not politicians using our offices to build themselves.

NEWS
Kibaki names Raila PM in new Cabinet

Story by ANTHONY KARIUKI
Publication Date: 4/13/2008

President Kibaki has named ODM leader Raila Odinga the Prime Minister in a 40-member grand coalition Cabinet.

The announcement has come after weeks of tense negotiations between the two leaders.

President Kibaki, accompanied by Mr Odinga and Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, announced the new Cabinet in a live address to the nation from State House, Nairobi.

President Kibaki said that the new cabinet will move fast to heal the nation.

“The new Cabinet will prioritise resettlement of displaced persons so that they can resume their normal lives and play their part in nation building.”

Gatundu South MP Uhuru Kenyatta and his Sabatia counterpart Musalia Mudavadi of the government coalition and ODM respectively are the new deputy prime ministers.

Apart from their new postings, Uhuru and Mudavadi were also handed Trade and Local Government dockets respectively.

Pentagon members William Ruto (Agriculture), Charity Ngilu (Water), Najib Balala (Tourism) and Joe Nyaga (Cooperatives) make the list.

As expected, the government retained the powerful portfolios: Finance (Amos Kimunya ), Justice and Constitutional Affairs (Martha Karua), Defence (Yusuf Haji) and Internal Security ( Prof George Saitoti).

Of the contentious ministries- at the centre of the delayed naming of the Cabinet- Foreign Affairs, Roads, Transport, Energy and Local Government, ODM only filled Roads (Kipkalya Kones) and Local Government ( Musalia Mudavadi).

The new-look Cabinet now comprises of : President, Vice President, Prime Minister, two deputy prime ministers and other ministers.

Prime Minister Odinga becomes only the second person to hold the office after Jomo Kenyatta, the first president of Kenya, served a short stint in the same capacity at the dawn of Independence.

He will have power to coordinate and supervise other ministries.

The naming of the new Cabinet comes against a backdrop of sustained pressure from the International Community, the Church, civil society, politicians and the Kenyan public on the two leaders to agree on a final list.

Kenya was thrown into a political turmoil after the December 27 presidential election failed to produce a clear winner. The violence that followed left more than 1,000 people dead, over 350,000 displaced and property worth billions of shillings destroyed.

It took the intervention of the international community, acting through the African Union, to broker a peace deal between the two leaders in an effort led by former UN secretary general Kofi Annan.

The announcement comes as a relief to the thousand of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) -uprooted from their homes after violence broke out in the wake of disputed presidential results – living in tented camps countrywide, who are keen on a political settlement so that they return to their homes.

Ref A Prayer To You

Our father who is in Harambee House give us a new grand Cabinet
As you give tea to those that visit you in Harambee House

Forgive Messrs Kivuiti as he do not know who won the presidential elections in Kenya

Lead us to believe that Grand Goverment will work for all Kenyans until 2012

Help us to know why there are some powerful and less powerful ministries in Kenya

I say this short prayer believing that you will be delivered us from deceit of our leaders saying they want fresh elections soon

And help us make a new constitution within 12 months

Need for an Integrated development plan for Kisumu

From: otieno k

I wish to add voice to the many that have been calling for the economic liberation of Luo Nyanza. In view of the events that took place before and after the 2007 elections, it is high time the luo people took charge of their destiny. I propose a few steps towards achieving this goal.

Kisumu is blesses with being located as a gateway to the wider COMESA market as well as the greater East Africa. This presents an opportunity to serve as a transportation hub. Kisumu therefore should set about developing and integrated development plan that supports the transformation of Kisumu into a transit and distribution hub. To achieve this I propose the transformation of Kibos area into a rail and cargo airport exchange. Alongside this should be the construction of an industrial park for exports as well as an incubation park to house Jua kali artisan and help with their transformation into the formal sector. This idea is being used in Tshwane (Pretoria) South Africa.

The Kondele area of Kisumu starting with the market and the entire lock heading towards hotel Casanova and westwards towards the Mosque opposite the medical training school should be transformed into a Convention district. The anchor of this district should be a convention center next to Kondele market.

Down town Kisumu should be extended onto the entire stretch of Kakamega road up to Kondele and on the North south grid should extend from Nakumatt city to Metro cahs and carry.

The area around the present airport should be developed as an industrial and and office park as well as golfing hub. This will help lure businesses into Kisumu by selling it as a livable community with family friendly activities as well as well equipped office amenities. Finally The areas around Nyando should be transformed int peanut growing and manufacturing hub as well as chicken production hub. Chemelil and Muhoroni should be developed as sugar can and horticulture hubs in the form of the Israeli Kibbutz system. This is where communities are organized along large tracks of land and the land is communally developed as a cooperative. The area alongside Kisian should be developed as a fruit growing area with the growth of fruit juice manufacturing companies.

What these targeted development plans achieve is the creation of employment as well as wealth generation. Jobs will be established in the transit and distribution sector, hotel and convention related industries as well as the growth of agricultural and agri based jobs. Before I sign out the areas that can be addressed in the short term are the redevelopment of Kibuye and Kondele markets into consumer friendly center. A company called the Kisumu market company should be charged with the development of hese markets with a dedicated food court and loading and shipping bays. A memorial at Kondele market to honor those Killed during the recent electoral skirmishes should also be enacted so that we and the future generations do not forget what the price of freedom entail.

I hope these ideas stir a debate that will help Kisumu take advantage of the years ahead. Thank you all for your time.

Re: “If………you will have time to die.”

From experience, it seems to me that when it comes to
health issues, some people would rather listen to a
doctor than a minister. This is the case despite the
fact that the Pastors advise is in most cases based or
rooted in the scriptures.

The irony of it is that doctors in some cases end up
asking the patients to do that which the pastors had
told them to do in the first case. I wish to cite two
examples to illustrate my point:

I was once told a story of this very rich and busy
fellow. One day,he fell sick amidst his busy schedule
and was rushed to the hospital. After going through
examination, the doctor told his patient that his
problem was due to lack of eating. Everyone was
shocked with the patients response, “I have no time to
eat.” The doctor simply looked at the patient and
said, “sir, if you have no time to eat, then you will
have time to die.” Whether he took the advise or not,
no one knows.

I was recently told a story of this guy who spend time
working hard, going to school, and worrying himself of
too many things. Nothing would convince him to be
temperance in any or all these things. Unfortunately,
he fell sick due to over stressing himself. The
situation called for him to see the doctor. He was
surprised to learn that his sickness was a direct
result of over stressing himself. And was was the
medication? Part of it was total rest.

From the two stories, I have come to the following
that I would like to pass on to whoever will care to
listen:

1.Take the word of God seriously. After all, we are
His creation and He knows what’s good for us.
2.Take time to rest. After six day’s of hard labor,
train yourself to rest
3.Be careful what you eat and drink. Most of the
disease’s are a direct result of our life style.
4.Stop worrying for things you have no power to
change. You can not afford to carry the whole year’s
problems on your shoulders in just one day.
5.Exercise, for it’s good for you.
6.A failure to follow the “thus said the Lord,” will
most definitely send you to the hospital.

In the end, you will regret but that will be
considered “too little, too late.”

Do you see my point?

Just a thought.

what else does Kibaki want Raila to do

An argument ensued between me and my brother on the question on whether

1. Raila made the right move to sign the coalition agreement
2. he was right on his move to meet Kibaki’s son. Martha Karua and Kimunya
3. Conceding the fifty fifty ministerial portfolios

Although my argument was that accepting all the demands of your opponent in the absence of a counter demand was a maximum display of weakness, I have now changed my mind. I have changed my mind because strength is not in an adamant neglect of humanity needs at the expense of an individual’s. Raila for once beat me to the punch. For the first time  I heard a voice of reason. A voice that argued for life rather than death. Raila at first said, let the presidency die but kenyan people live while Kibaki chose the opposite by inaugurating himself after six pm against the law. Raila went a head and accepted a prime minister position while he was supposed to  demand his democratic win. Indeed Raila went beyond the protocol to meet none entities like Kibaki’s son and even Martha Karua to paint a picture of a reconciliatory mood in Kenya. Here is a question I have for all Kenyans, what more do want the son of Odinga to do. How low can Raila go.

What ever you suggest that he does, you must put yourself in his shoes. Raila won the election no doubt. Why is he still negotiating with Kibaki. Can Kibaki rule Kenya if Raila says no? I highly doubt it. Can otherwise happen? I believe it will. Based on this hypothesis , Raila should not give anymore ground. Dictators like Kibaki are so drunk with power to an extent that they do not realize their limitations. I see their limitation though. The public have had enough of this crap. If Raila hold his guns, Kibaki will soon be exiled. If Kibaki wants to be a kenyan he must act now for the einterest of Kenya just like Raila has.

Re: Kenyans, ARE WE LOOSERS IN DIAMOND TREASURES?

Fellow Kenyans,

I do ask this stupid question just because of the situation we have now in Kenya. Our country is so much rich, in fact we do have a lot. Look at even the dialects God gave us, we do have over 40 tribes and languages. I do consider that as a gift. Just image if we had wise leaders and open just even a faculty in University exploring those languages, how many of our people would land jobs?, so many. And in Africa alone we have over 1500 languages, so you can just imagine what I am trying to say. On Natural resources or raw materials, Africa is so much gifted with almost any mineral on earth. It is still a pity that the only country in Africa which exploits its minerals and does NOT export them as such is only South Africa. The rest of African countries export raw material as if they do not know what to do with them. And later end up buying them from USA or Europe at prices so high that even the miners themselves can not afford. How many Kenyans can buy Citroen, BMW or MB or their own aeroplanes etc?.

God gave us almost everything except good leaders. PNU is now like an army full of lions but commanded by an ass. A clever man said that if you want to win the battle you better have an army made up of asses and commanded by a lion. Kibaki can not demote his ministers, even Uhuru Kenyatta is now saying that he will not leave his ministry. These people do not know that they are just MPs and the ministry is completely a different thing all together. Kibaki is not a good leader, a leader who states his good intentions, but does not take action to make them real is not needed. He talks readily about good intentions, but talk, by itself does nothing. A leader must take action to become a good leader, and to today we see that Kibaki is an ass and these Martha, Uhuru, Kalonzo, Michuki etc are lions.

God gave us a very good continent and a very good country, Kenya is nicely geographically placed, if we had wisdom we could have exploited it a lot, and the past 44 years after independence we would have jumped a head of China, South Korea, Europe etc. But what do we have today, A DYSFUNCTIONAL MESS. Imagine a Kenyan child born prematurely, lives without an incubators, sometimes doctors gives them only 3 months life expectancy, but this girl or boy survives all those odds and grow up and become somebody or sometimes end up dying from a policeman`s bullet in Nyalende (Kisumu) or Kibera (Nairobi) fired by a fellow poor Kenyan who went through the same circumstances. All these has happened in Kenya during the shoot to kill policies, in fact it is even sad to see that it is somebody from USA or Europe who comes to save these people`s lives. We Kenyans are deeply rooted in our old traditions and has made us so hopeless that we are hardly fit enough to survive in our God given us environment.

Advice to the ODM, do not be trapped into this stupid election euphoria PNU is calling now, Kibaki was asked in January to accept a new re-run but refused. Nothing good will a new election bring if PNU is controlling the ministry of justice and constitutional affairs, Defense, Finance, internal security, the president is appointing the ECK etc. Unless you ODM are ready for a civil war after that election.

Paul,

You said it well. Our real let down is leadership. Look at what is happening now, Kibaki and Co. are shameless in trying to monopolize power even when it is clear who lost and who won the election. ArapMibei or ArapOdinga won as every one knows. yet too much time is wasted on stupid negotiations which are going nowhere. Even if they agreed on ministries today, it will be difficult for the two to work together. Kibaki gives 2.5% to CDF Raila wants to give 60%. Raila spent most of his life fighting status Quo even in detention; Kibaki on the other hand, is “the status Quo” and architect of the current oppressive system. This kind of revolution is what would change things in Kenya and in Africa. Power in Africa is concentrated on personality instead of the people. Do you guys see any similarities between Kibaki and Mugabe and many other African leaders? Listen to T.Mbeki, he thinks Zimbabwe should be left alone. Really? That is Africa. We are blessed in Kenya because we are strategically placed so that every one needs our stability so they can reach their interests. That is how every one came to our aid. Friends, there is hope because international community is on our side. But what is going to happen if no deal is reached? I believe fresh elections will be the answer.

PNU seems to have some hidden agenda going on. They claim to have sent 48 “specially trained DOs” to Rift Valley. When and where were they trained? Who trained them? Where? Due to this kind of issues, lies and propaganda, I do not think it is healthy to co-exist with these people anymore. They claim violence was pre-planned and pre-meditated “only” in Rift Valley just because that is where their interests “land” was most affected. This will never be accepted nor will it work as they think. Jaramogi tried and was kicked out. Moi came and followed NYAYO, so he narrowly survived. We need leaders who will break the status quo and start a people’s revolution. But most importantly, common citizens must be empowered to achieve success.

Dear Paul,

Gichaba,

Thanks for your comment. Mr. Gichaba, I do think we are missing a lot. It doesn`t have to take normal functioning human beings with brains over 44 years to get what is wrong with the system. Our country has been free from the British colonist for now over 44 years do you think we luck only management?. Okey let me agree with you once in my lifetime that we have failed in management, BUT can you explain to me why we have failed in management if we are not Damn loosers in a diamond treasures?. Look at even the Kenyan Ugandan railway, it is still the same one line the British left, in fact they used the coolies from India to build it, not even Africans.

All those claiming to be intelligent Kenyans should sit down to decide the fate of our country, this should be done regardless of your tribe, whether luo, Kikuyu, Kalenjin, Kamba, Kisii, Luhja, Nandi, Mijikenda, masai etc. In fact a minister does not have to be an MP, it can be any personality with good profession on the type of ministry he is assigned to. We should burry all our differences and do something for our future, in fact Africa is pathetic, and the African image outside or even inside Africa is degrading. Other continents are moving forward except an African. Even foreign embassies in Africa are already tired of supplying visas to Africans who want to leave the continent for greener pastures outside Africa. Africans beg from the simplest poor man up to the president. Our Presidents, vice presidents, minister, Mps, politicians keep on begging for help and development as if they do not have brains themselves to promote development, they beg even for money. This time it will be from the British or French, the next time it is from the Chinese or Indians, But the whole thing is the same BEGGING for help. They are not better than those street beggers you see in Nairobi. In fact when they come to Europe or USA sometimes even fellow country men outside are even a shamed to attend their meetings except a few from their tribes who are not ashamed of their beggings. Some have already saying that Black is the color but non is the number. I hope you get what I do mean.

ODM be cautious!

From: “Prof. Joe Kodhek Ko’Bondo”

ODM should not be tricked to going in for bones in the coalition government while PNU takes the fleshy meats. ODM is an equal partner in the coalition and must be seen and act as one. Although all cabinet positions are on equal terms in salary and allowances, it is obvious that some are more prestigious than others, and it’s why these plum ones must be shared almost equally depending on their clustering. ODM must ensure it fronts adequately qualified nominees for each of these positions if it hopes to win the argument. It is not wise and weighty to front Prof. Anya’ng Nyong’ for a Finance docket when it is obvious he can not match the criteria. As a political science and socialogy scholar, he will fair poorly when compared to Kimunya, etc. Why not plunge Magara’s name for the Finance job since he is better qualified than Nyong’ if ODM really wish to take that position?

I also feel professionalizing the coalition cabinet will be in the best interest of the country, and ODM should be in the front line in bringing meaningful change in governance. I would therefore not recommend Charity Ngilu for the Health and Sanitation docket. That needs a public health professional and not a mare office secretary. Equally, William Ole Ntimama and Fred Gumo etc are only fit for the ‘bones’ and not the ‘flesh’ given their dubious academic background. We have many well qualified professionals in ODM, and we must put the best brains among them into the front line if at all we are here for a real change and show case. The pentagon must in this regard re-think its strategy and let go its pride and drive for selfishness. There is no reason why Bishop Wanjiru can not be assigned to assist in the ministry of Religious and Gender Affairs.

It is also very dangerous to push too much for a sharing top positions in the Public Service, Judiciary and what have you. Politisizing the core magnum of government technocrats is an ill advised approach. Prof. Nyong’ should not drive ODM to an oblique destination that has a very high probability of failure. On this score, PNU is right and we must learn to reason on facts and logic. Political expediency must not be allowed to ride on our backs. My proposal is that, we should be pushing for regional and geographic balance in top notch public appointments through a competitive due process. That is the only sure way of showing ODM is different from former KANU and NARC governments. Jobs at all levels must be based on merit first and then geo-profile next and gender last.

Finally, if agreement on how to make a coalition government fails, that should not surprise us. It’s not unusual and world over, coalitions are always very fragile and short lived. For US, UK and EU etc to have pushed for a coalition solution to our crisis it’s because it was the only short term best way out. We mustn’t however take too much solace and comfort in this interim arrangement. We must be ready for a fresh election as well if that is the option 2 many are thinking about. We must also be fully aware of our expectations. It is obvious there would be less enthusiasm, hence voter apathy will manifest in the outcome. There others who will not vote neither for ODM nor for PNU and they will seek an third option.

Protest In Kitale over Curfew

KITALE, April 11 – Two months after the Government imposed a dusk to dawn curfew in Trans Nzoia and Mount Elgon districts at the height of a military crackdown on militia in the area, traders in Kitale town have threatened to boycott paying taxes until the clampdown is lifted.

Kibaki a big Disgrace, Perpetrating Tribalism

We Kenyan are strange people. How can few greedy persons from one community pursuing their own agenda of their own remaining in power come next election hold other communities at ransom for such a long period.

Why don’t our leaders mobilize their supporters to demonstrate like the Philippines? I think Kenya is for all Kenyans not one community to dictate to others as if others are foreigners.

Now look why Kibaki can’t relinquish the six senior cabinet post to ODM and other communities. Besides the huge budgets they attract they also:

Ministry of Local Authority – controls all the councils and councillors and is a key channel to mobilize and keeping political support countrywide. They can get any information as far as politics is concerned anywhere in the country.

Justice and Constitutional Affairs – The Mt. Kenya will not allow any constitutional change that will not favor their interest and get them out of power very easier. Going by 2005 referendum, they want to maintain the ministry to frustrate any meaningful constitutional change.

Finance – this is the granary of the country. With their own in this ministry, they can stael and loot scandalously but who will question them if their own can protect them. With their focus on 2012 election, they seriously need this ministry to get state funds.

Internal Security – Successful campaigns in Africa require leaders to control state security for intimidation and harassment of opponents.

Energy – Is the major campaign tool. Remember the Kipipiri during Moi and recently Marakwet when Kiraitu tried to who the public to vote for PNU in exchange of rural electrification.

Travel to Central Province by road and come back. Pick a public vehicle and travel to Western Kenya and you will answer yourself why this ministry is more important.

RE: “EXCEPT FOR THE LORD,” A SYNOPSIS OF MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY

On April 25, 2008, my autobiography entitled “EXCEPT
FOR THE LORD,” will hit the market. It will sell at $
14:95 besides the shipping charges of $ 3:00

Allow me to say a few words on my book.  Granted,
every one else has had his/her share of the challenges
in life. What’s interesting in my case is that it
seems not to stop.

I was born into a wealth polygamous home. My father
had four wives and a total of 38 children. My mother
gave birth to 12 children. Unfortunately, 7 of her
children have passed thus leaving 5 of us. With time,
my father’s earthly glory disappeared just like that,
leaving us in a life of abject poverty.

Due to the dramatic changes at our home, I left home
when I was only in grade 5 and started living with
relatives. From then to this day, I have faced one
challenge after another. I send myself through both my
undergraduate and graduate schools.

Indeed, my journey thus far has been very challenging.
Except for the good Lord, I don’t know where I will be
today. This book therefore, is a testimony of that
which the Lord can do to those who surrender and trust
him. It’s a book that suits all cultures.

Believe me when I say that you will enjoy every
chapter of the book. Don’t let anyone else tell you.
Get a copy for yourself.

Here is how:

Let me know if you would like a copy. Should you want

Pr.

It might not be a complicated process to place the book in the internet. That way you don’t have to drive to NJ to drop one to my nephew who says he needs one. In the mean time please drop two @ my home anytime so my son can also have the opportunity to read it.

  Great Job Pastor.

WILL KIBAKI AND HIS HOMEGUARDS EVER LEARN

I do not know who to quote on this. However,  the statement is very clear in my mind. As far as my memory can go. “Kibaki and those who support Kibaki’s stand are suffering from the warthog syndrome”.

It is time to reveal the dark secretes. A “saved” friend sent me a text message even before the votes were counted to tell me that Kibaki had won and labeled me a person who cultishly follow Raila Odinga when I let him be aware that the votes were not counted yet. I warned him sternly  that even though I was a bitter man deprived of his birthright, I was not going to be there when hell is let loose. Ladies and gentlemen  he eventually blamed me for the hell he and his henchmen created.

Since the hell broke loose in the republic of Kenya, my friend and classmate that I would call Wambu for now has not called me. I would just like to tell Wambu my long lost friend that I am not referring to him in this story as I know Wambu himself is a too a Njiiri smart graduate who see the future before it arrives.

Short sightedness I say. VISAS canceled, the west are mad, the locals are displaced, many lack shelter and food. Mungiki is mad, jeshi la mzee is waiting on the wings, chinkororo is in the bush, Kalenjin warriors are wondering why they are being held back while Bagdad soldiers are asking the leaders “where the job is”. Some have lost everything and hence do not care anymore and yet Kibaki still think that power must remain in the house of Mumbi. The house of Mumbi that I can no longer specifically describe as there is no pure blood in Kenya.

Mobutu was still saying he was the cockrel when he was being forced into exile in the desert, Amin claimed he still owned Uganda when he was in fact running for dear life. Is this what Kibaki wants for his children and family? His excellency if that is what you want, I must say it is coming your way. The prophesy is written on the wall. The few who you are banking on are definitely going to be overpowered.

If Kibaki has not learned from Naivasha, Eldoret, Kisumu and Nairobi then those who support him who have suffered the most should wake him up and tell him to conrom. It is time to let him know that his ideology is not worth a single human life. It is time he knows that I will never fight Wambu because of him but I will fight him to death for my democratic right.

*THERE IS A SAY, “IF IT IS NOT DOCUMENTED, IT DOES NOT EXIST, FULL STOP!”*

IT MUST BE MANDATORY THAT ANY NEGOTIATION BETWEEN PNU, ODM AND THOSE PRESSURE COOKER FOREIGN POWERS BE DOCUMENTED! KENYANS MUST INSIST ON A WRITTEN DOCUMENT ABOUT WHAT THESE PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT BECAUSE ORDINARY KENYANS WILL BE DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY THE DECISIONS MADE.

THE OUTCOME OF THESE NEGOTIATIONS WILL HAVE FAR REACHING EFFECTS ON
(a) job creation and employment
(b) education
(c) health care availability
(d) KENYA’S INTERNAL security
(THERE TOO MANY MERCENARIES ON THE LOOSE IN KENYA. NOBODY KNOWS ON WHOSE BEHALF THEM OPERATING).

THE YOUNG KENYANS WHO DO NOT WANT THEIR FUTURE TO BE DICTATED BY THESE FOREIGNERS HAVE TO START THINKING OUT OF THE BOX. KENYA WITH MUTUAL FOREIGN INFLUENCE IS MUCH BETTER THAN THAT DICTATED BY FOREIGNERS.

IPOs are usually fund raising tools for companies. World economy is currently sinking into depression. Additionally, some companies in Kenya lost a lot of money during the election turmoil and may be trying to raise money from the public by offering IPOs to recoup the losses!

Kenyans must make sure they understand the reasons behind these IPOs. Else, these companies may be taking them to the cleaners!

From: Dan Orao

Public memo from WASUNGU governments
to: Mr. Kbaki, Mr. odinga and followers

You MUST IMPLEMENT Kofi Annan’s power sharing agreement (FULLY) to the letter and to the spirit of the agreement. Failure to implement this agreement will result in the following consequences:

* Kenya will fall apart and their will be NO government at all

* You will lose salaries, benefits and the privileges you are enjoying now

* You will lose titles like ‘Honorable’ or ‘Mweshimiwa’ which are very dear to you

* You will live like ordinary Kenyans

* You will take matatu to work and eat Sukuma wiki like wanainchi

* Ordinary Kenyans and IDPS will move into your gated communities

* You will have nowhere to hide when this country falls apart

*If you are planning on coming to Wasungu Land:*

** You will NOT be able to travel to our countries

** Your immediate family members will not be able to travel to our countries

** Your money and other assets in our banks will be frozen

** Your current government will not get foreign aid from our governments

** Your names will be publicly posted on a restricted travel list for the world to see

If you have any questions, please, don’t call us. We will call you after you have come to your senses and formed a functional government for the people of Kenya.

Sincerely,

United States, Great Britain, Canada , the EEU Community and the world community

Oh yes, upon receiving this memo I can hear the hardliners, soft liners, PNU and ODM characters in this government who don’t want lose jobs in the power sharing regime saying:

– Kenya is a sovereign state

– Kenya has a constitution that we must follow, even if the country is falling apart.

– Kenya’s ruling class does not take orders from Wasungus on how to run their government

– Kenya is not a colony of these Wasungu governments

– Kenya is self sufficient and doesn’t rely on foreign aid for development

– Kenya is not failed a African state

– Kenya is better off than Somalia and Zimbabwe

– Kenya’s economy is doing well.. Safaricom IPOs recently went public

– Kenya has animals and game parks and Wasungu government don’t

– Kenya’s slums are better than your slums

* If WASUNGUS don’t want us to come and trade, we will now deal with our African brethren: *

*** We will trade with Sudan. They have oil and a good civil war going

*** We will trade with Somalia. They have good piracy business in the Indian Ocean

*** We will trade with the Republic of Congo. They have minerals and a good civil war going on

*** We will trade with Zimbabwe, a country with single billion dollar denomination

*
* On serious note, the leaders and the politicians of this country will not implement the Anan’s negotiated power sharing government without the pressure from the overtly hated but privately loved Wasungu governments by this ruling class crowd. *MARK MY WORDS*,the new Cabinet will be immediately formed the day* after* these Wasungu governments issue the ultimatum that I have pointed out in tang and cheek in this article. Those who are now advocating for new election may want to think again!. what will new election bring?. Regardless of when these elections are held in this country, the voters will still vote for their tribal leaders and tribal parties. The survival of this KENYA and this government depend on what these *Wasungu governments can do to pressure this ruling class to come to an agreement of power sharing as was stipulated in Kofi Annan’s cease fire negotiation.
